Me and my fiance went away with out 3 year old son and 7 week old daughter. We were all covered in bites. The mattresses were filthy. A lady was in our room while we where out she didn't do anything apart from leave a note to say not to put napys in the bin and to leave them at...

Dear mummyoftwoo your partner refused housekeeping access to your room and it was myself that left a note to say that nappies could be left at reception for disposal as they were being left in the ensuite where they lay until I myself noticed the smell in the hallway outside your room and removed the soiled nappies.obviously you have taken...

My partner and I had a last minute change of heart from our camping trip and had decided to spend the last two nights of our trip to Northern Ireland in a B&B in Portrush so we could explore the Causeway Coast. I have to admit we booked our hotel via booking.com via my blackberry whilst driving across from Belcoo...

Oakdene was a pleasant little place to stay. The rooms were clean but small and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was brilliant with a huge choice on offer. I would return.

Stayed one Saturday night and property was picked on reviews. I thought it did not live up to all expectations. All the staff were pleasant enough but my reservations was with the room. I don't think we were any way unlucky but reflected the general lack of attention to the small things. The place is clean but its the long...

Where do I start? The staff- useless. There was a young girl "working" there who hadn't a clue. The amount of times she stood saying "I'm not too sure" was ridiculous! Firstly she couldn't find our bookings, we had booked 3 double rooms with en-suite. Instead we got 2 box rooms and one with a sea view. As good as...

Me and my boyfriend, who are both in our late teens, stayed in The Oakdene Guest House in July for two nights. Being the slightly overized children we are we went to Portrush for Barry's Amusements and got a beautiful weekend, but one of the best things about our trip was our accommodation. Oakdene is a Victorian house with a...

Stayed in the guesthouse for one night only. It is under new management and althought the proprietor was friendly and welcoming, the standard of the rooms were awful. The bedding smelt rather stale. Breakfast the following morning was an hour and a half wait. It consisted of stodgy fried bread, 1 small overcooked sausage and an egg. There was no...
