Evelyn was very good in advising us on all aspects of our stay and in providing us with directions to the place. Upon arrival we were greeted, provided with our arrival pack and shown around the house which was more than ample for us. A few niggles but nothing too critical. We struggled finding places to eat for take away... More

Myself and a group of friends stayed at the cottage for a couple of nights for a quiet new year getaway and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The cottage is lovely, clean, and spacious, and has all the applicances you'd expect as well as a very well appointed kitchen. We were given a very warm welcome by Evelyn when we arrived as... More

We stayed as a family over the half term week in October in Coolnacran. After a long journey it was easy to find the cottage and the welcome we were given was perfect - a good run through of the property and the local amenities without going over the top. The whole family found the beds exceptionally comfortable and everything... More

The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The caretaker Evelyn couldn't be more helpful. Unfortunately we didn't have much opportunity to explore the surounding area but it was very peaceful and we all enjoyed our stay greatly.

There are two cottages to rent and both are a pleasure to stay in. Evelyn is really welcoming and always on hand to help if needed. The cottages are situated in a beautiful location with a lovely walk around the woods on your doorstep. A ten minute stroll will take you to the village shop and kids play park. Once... More

We were a family gathering of 7 and we were very comfortable and warm in the adjoining self catering properties. The cottages have been sympathetically converted and are tastefully furnished. We particularly enjoyed the rocking chair. They are spotlessly clean with good cooking facilities, although we would have appreciated an oven glove. There is a beautiful walk from the door... More

We booked the smaller cottage for a week and we were not disappointed. Homemade brown bread, cup cakes, jams on arrival, thank you Evelyn! Accommodation was spotless. The location was tranquil and peaceful. A great base to visit the attractions of Belfast, Mourne Mountains and the Antrim Coast and further afield. Warm, cosy, lovely walks on the grounds of Loughbrickland... More

We spent 9 days at Loughbrickland Courtyard while meeting the family of our new daughter-in-law in Banbridge and exploring NI. The location makes it an easy day for a trip to the Antrim coast, Belfast, or the Mournes. And the best meals of our entire trip to Ireland and NI were 10 minutes away at Rice's Hotel/Pub in Pointzpass. Well... More
