Went for a friends birthday, I've been here plenty of times so do recommend this restaurant, I had a pizza this time it was just ok, not spicy as advertised, just a few jalapeños to spice it up, everyone enjoyed their meal, my only moan is I had to ask five times to see the desert menu!

Popped in for a swift pint prior to going onward for a curry, staff very friendly, good choice of drink, to be honest would of stopped longer but had to leave... Have eaten there previously ( lunch time ) food was gorgeous and again staff friendly and polite....

Lovely venue for a lovely country lunch or evening meal . Nice menu selection . Well appointed . Stylish simple decor. Area for more formal meal and for bar dining. Friendly helpful staff. Worth a visit

From the outside the Roebuck Inn has Stax of appeal, however this is greatly let down once you have passed through the bar and entered the living quarters. The stairs leading to the bedrooms have a strange smell and the appearance is slightly tatty and dingy. The rooms themselves are incredibly sparse and very small. There is no wardrobe or... More

This hotel was a real disappointment. Looks lovely from outside, however the clue should have been that the place was empty. As already mentioned, it was very strange to be made to pay up-front for our rooms, I can only surmise that they have many people that once they view the rooms, decide to check-out pronto, we would have!! To... More

Booked a table in a Friday night for 8 of us, celebrating a birthday. Lovely evening and started with drinks outside where the attentive staff brought menus to us. Food ordered and made our way to the table. Overall good prices for the food, starters were generally good but mains were a bit hit and miss e.g. 3 people had... More

Wow what a lovely evening. After a hard time at work with my partner working away we were out for an evening of relaxation. We were greeted by a lovely team at the Roebuck this evening. Set in a lovely location in the heart of Roman Warwickshire. The location was stunning as was the decor of the establishment. I know... More

I had a lovely meal here yesterday - the Sea Bass was perfectly cooked and their gourmet chips are something very different - a perfect crunch outside and soft and fluffy inside. Good size portions, and the waitress was efficient and friendly. Great fun too - she offered to pick all the calories out of our white chocolate and strawberry... More

Rooms are clean. Bring your own soaps, shampoos, wash cloths, and mouthwashes. For the casual, young, and able bodied traveler, the Roebuck will serve you with mediocrity for a short term stay. Internet WiFi access is hit or miss, so the working business traveler should plan accordingly if data uploads/downloads are a requirement. Lobby/bar/common seating areas have restricted hours; so,... I used to visit the Roebuck a lot when I worked in Alcester and still go every couple of months for a meal. I have always liked the menu and the home cooked 'not chain' food. I have to say the service has always been hit and miss there depending on who is on staff wise. We visited recently though... More
