Having found the Roebuck on TripAdviser and read the good reviews we went along for a meal and so enjoyed it that we went the next night as well. If I had to find something negative (hence only 4 stars) it would be that with all the brilliant and tasty fare done to perfection why was it that all the...

I would like to award 3.5 stars as the Roebuck restaurant is better than average, perhaps "good" rather than very good. I have eaten twice here this year (2015), both times in groups (16 and 21) and both times the food and service have been very good. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the quality and taste of...

If you're expecting an olde worlde pub close to Shakespeare's birthplace you'll be disappointed. If you simply want top class pub food in more modern surroundings with an extensive menu, not cheap but reasonable prices, great beer & wine and extremely efficient and pleasant service, I highly recommend this 'pub'. We'll be back the next time that we visit the...

We had my grandmothers wake here last week and the owners couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. The inn is very tastefully decorated and cosy, with a good choice of Ales and good quality coffee. The food was excellent, well presented, tasty, plentiful and we got very good value for money. We will definitely be back...

Stayed for one night and staff made us feel very welcome. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had the full English breakfast which was freshly cooked to perfection. We have had several delicious meals before at the Roebuck but this was our first time staying overnight, it is a lovely pub and very much recommended.

had a 3 night stay booked her whilst attending a training course in the area. Lovely pub and very friendly staff who made us feel at home! Only eat breakfast at the hotel as we were out in the evenings but the breakfast was gorgeous (I had poached eggs each day) and a colleague staying with us said that it...

We recently visited The Roebuck for a family birthday. We have visited several times previously and have always had excellent service and superb food and this occasion was no exception. The welcome we received was second to none and the food was outstanding. All of the staff went out their way to ensure that we had a lovely evening. A...

Food was enjoyable but lacked the atmosphere of some of the other pubs,The bar area feels a bit clinical but restaurant area is a bit more intimate with a conservatory area. is worth a try but not inspiring. Havent stayed at the hotel but rooms look nice quality.
