Me and my partner booked this last minute for a day out at Longleat the next day. We arrived around 9:30pm to a man (maybe owner/manager) drinking in the bar with a dirty old stained white shirt and blazer. He grunted to us about a reservation and then gave us the key to our 'room'. He then said its on...

I stayed Thursday night in this hotel. The room was basic, but very clean. The hotel is run by an Italian couple, and I have to say I had a pizza for supper and it was fabulous. The breakfast was also good. So if you're looking for a very reasonably priced hotel in Warminster I strongly recommend the Farmers Hotel

We knew this hotel was old and possibly in need of updating but that has never bothered us. However the owner just didn't seem to have any people skills whatsoever, not good when you are a hotel owner. There was very little conversation on arrival, just pointed to our room, and the same on departure, just took our money and...

Having visited the Longleat House & Safari Park Christmas Experience the family were a little tired and hungry and in need of something more than the Little Chef adjacent to our rooms at the local Travelodge had to offer, so after a quick chat with the lodge receptionist we called the Farmers Hotel to book a table. After my initial...

Weekend away with friends. The hotel is quirky, friendly and homely. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The room was a little dated but very clean and comfortable. breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. I will definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend it to friends and family. It is not 5 star luxury but it does not...

Well I was greeted by some bloke rolling up a fag! Told my room was across the road!!?? And had to come over to the actually restaurant In the morning for breakfast. When one of the main reason you have breakfast is because it's easy just to stick some cloths on and go down stairs but not in this case...

I stayed in the farmers the week before In a basic room having booked myself in for 4 weeks. Although basic it did the job. When I turned up the following week after a long day at work I was given the tv room with no lock on the door and sofas piled up in the corner. The room was...
