My family and I decided to have Sunday Lunch at The Leo' having heard good things about the food. The pub is in a lovely location right on the River Wylye, we ate in the restaurant which overlooks the river. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive (when we saw them). However it took 30 minutes for our...

Booked a table for Mothers Day lunch as had lunch here before (back last year) and the food and service were fantastic. Did not start off well as having booked in advance, did not expect to be seated in the bar right next to the main entrance. We were moved after requesting a different table to the restaurant area. We...

We were staying - in a modest, clean and pleasant room - to catch up with local friends who had eaten here before. It was a busy Saturday night and the service was stretched. However, all staff were friendly and obliging. The food was excellent and the wines good and not unreasonably priced. Breakfast the next day was for those...

So sad to hear the food is good as after 20 mins of waiting for a menu we never got a taste Understand busy but failure to attend may be met with sorry for the delay. Did not happen Seems it's our fault for being there!! I think my biggest gripe is I just read a review from yesterday and...

Dined at the Prince twice since the new owners have taken over. I can not praise the food enough it's fantastic! Our problem was we felt completely ignored by the waiting staff or like we were being annoying asking for menus after 20 minutes for waiting for them. We Would have had more drinks but nobody comes near the table...

After a two hour walk in the countryside , after leaving our cars outside the pub , a quick change of shoes and we were ready for refreshments . We were seated together with a great view ,I'm sure it would be even better on a summers day . The drinks arrived at our table , so much nicer than...

Having been recommended to visit following a change of chef, our friends and I booked a table to celebrate my birthday. Whilst our starters were ok my rather lumpy steak was served covered in a very strong garlic butter which I was unable to stomach and subsequent sent back. We were surprised to be charged and told that the chef...

What a find. I have travelled the main road often and seen the signs to the inn but never ventured down the lane. So glad we did eventually. A lovely welcome. A beautiful spot beside the river and the food was excellent. I had two vegans with me and they had great food. My roast beef was rare and delicious,...

We had an absolutely superb Sunday lunch yesterday at this lovely Inn in Wiltshire. The views are beautiful even on a dank grey day and I am definitely going back in late spring early summer. The portion sizes were a little large for me but my son thought he had died and gone to heaven. There were 8 of us...

Great buzz, staff really natural, friendly and smiling, lovely welcome and perfect service. We had woodcock and whitebait starters, steaks for mains. All perfect, nothing too much trouble. Made for a fabulous and fun evening. Thank you. New owners doing a great job.
