Stopped at the Prince Leopold 2 weeks ago for one night. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food was superb and very filling, and served in very pleasant surroundings. The situation of the pub, right on the river was lovely and we were lucky enough that the weather was pleasant so we could sit in...

I couldn't recommend this place any better! The staff are extremely polite and friendly. Upon entering you will find an open log fire, this helps to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. There is a nice garden to the rear of the property that is close to the river. This place is extremely family friendly, they even have bored games...

Came upon this charming inn whilst travelling from London to North Somerset and what a find! We received a warm welcome, very good service and enjoyed an excellent meal in the pleasant restaurant with views across the nearby river and water meadows. We will be returning at the earliest opportunity and will certainly be recommending the Prince Leopold to others.

We turned up on a Friday night complete with dog on spec and what a find! A really friendly pub and hotel with great food and service in a stunning riverside location. I cannot recommend this Inn highly enough! I recently stayed there with my family (two parents, two adult children, and a dog) and we had an absolutely lovely stay. We booked our rooms on the day of and found room booking easy and convenient. They were also very welcoming of our small dog which was great; we saw other guests...

we have dined here for a number of years with varying ownership offering varying qualities. it appears the hotel is now owned by a south African couple and all I can say is VERY GOOD. we went through to the larger restaurant area and we were treated extremely well. My wife ordered a Prusecco and because there not enough bubbles...

My father in Law lives near here. We have been a few times now when we visit (from London). It is one of our favourite pubs to eat at. We have two young sons, and the landlady and staff are so kind and attentive to my children and also to my elderly father in law. We had a delicious meal...

My family and I were enjoying a lovely Sunday lunch. Everything had been so perfect, from the food to the waitress' attentiveness. Unfortunately this lovely afternoon was ruined due to an argument occurring between mangement and staff. I don't expect this from a well respected pub. Quite frankly I was appalled someone would speak to another person in this manor....

Stopped off on our way to Long Leat on Sunday after a recommendation from a friend and we arrived at 1pm to find the place surprisingly charming with the river running through the lovely garden. On entering the bar area you are left waiting for a while as the restaurant is a walk away and seemed to be the focus of...

And an excellent restaurant and hotel, too. The riverside location is extremely appealing, and there are pleasant walks to be had in the area. Our evening meal, looking out of the river, was first rate: confit of duck, and a steak. Friendly service. Room comfortable, though not exactly quiet on night one: another couple seemed to be enacting their favourite...
