The best steak I've ever had!! Great quality meat, absolutely perfectly cooked. Best steak ever. I had the 10oz Rump Steak, it was beautifully tender and mouth wateringly good! Service was absolutely amazing!! And pints were so cheap!! Amazing!!!! Couldn't fault it!

Me and my girlfriend were in Warminster for the night and selected this pub for food due to its already high trip advisor rating, so I thought I should contribute because this is so much more than just pub food! The food here is excellent, we left feeling full and wanting to return! The staff were very attentive and polite...

Found this gem after looking on tripadvisor. Don't be deceived from the pub exterior as the service and food is closer to an a la carte restaurant. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals (other than myself- I ordered the mushroom risotto and didn't like it, but I'm sure that was more down to personal preference.) The waiter was extremely attentive and...

From the outset hard to find fault in this hotel. The staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome, originally in room 1 with the shower but really wanted a room with a bath, this was done with no fuss. ( lots of time wasted in the spa bath, great way to relax after days work) The room was...

This is a lovely old pub with loads of atmosphere. The food is fantastic - a good combination of top notch pub food and other dishes you wouldn't necessarily expect to find in a pub like mussels and after dinner you can retire to the fireplace. Lovely.

Didn't know what to expect - back street location in Warminster but very pleasantly surprised. Opened the front door into a wood panelled bar area with the biggest stone fireplace ( from Longleat House) , pleasant welcome from the owner who took us to a large double bedroom on the 1st floor. Neutral yet quality décor with bare brick wall...

We chose this place for a Sunday lunch get together because it was centrally placed for us all. It was a typical old pub with a lovely log fire burning next to some comfy seats in the bar area. We had booked in advance and although the place was spacious there were quite a few other diners there - so...

Not knowing the area I looked on TripAdvisor and noticed this place. The food was very good and also the service, the house white was nice and all in all a pleasant meal in a good atmosphere. Didn't have pudding so couldn't comment

We have just had a two night stay here with my parents. On arrival we were met by a very polite lady who helped to take our cases to our rooms. Our room (number 3) was very nice, spacious and spotless. It had a kettle with a great choice of coffee/tea/chocolate/bottles of water. The bed was so comfortable that I...
