Spent 2nights here with my sister in the Fantail suite. I opted to have the sofa bed rather than climb the ladder to the gallery above the main bedroom (my grandsons would have adored that!!) - I needn't have worried that it might be a little uncomfortable.............quite the opposite!! We were both able to luxuriate in these patchwork-quilt-bedecked comfy beds...

this place is truly amazing! Once you've discovered it, you need to decide on which suite to stay in - Great Spurs or FanTail - both are charming, full of travel memorabilia and musical instruments and the most interesting layouts. Priscilla and Peter make the scrummiest of breakfasts, suitable for any diet or preference, which set you up for the...

Priscilla and Peter are the most welcoming hosts and absolutely made us feel at home. The windmill is full of their travel souvenirs and a lot of life long memorabilia, which we really liked, but if you like clutter free, this is not the place for you! Our room had a very comfortable round bed and a fantastic whirlpool bath, again...

we booked the old wind mill for 2 nights stay on 17th August 2015. We stay at the fantail suite, it's basically a floor to yourself. A living room, big bathroom, and master bedroom with the added extra of a child's room built above but still in the same room. My 4 year old thought this was amazing! And the...

This was my surprise to my wife on our recent trip to England. I wanted quirky and different and boy did we get it. This place is pretty hard to find down a narrow lane but once you find it then WOW. Priscilla is very welcoming and Peter will help with your bags if required. The view from our room...

If you are after a modern minimalist hotel you are in the wrong place! This fantastic, quirky house is stuffed with travel books and interesting items collected from the owners' travels, adding to its character. The building is beautiful, with great views across Bradford. It's an easy walk to the centre of Bradford, albeit uphill on the way back. Our...

Difficult to locate from a busy main road because there is no sign. Advised by owner that patrons from the local pub have stolen the sign in the past and also they have not replaced it because some tourists come calling because they think it is a tourist attraction. The short narrow road up to the place is best negotiated...

We stayed ismtge Old Windmill for 3 nights and stayed in the Great Spur room. It was lovely, comfortable and welcoming. Parking is a little cramped there but a small price to pay for the idyllic surroundings, accomodation and views. Pricilla was welcoming and helpful. We loved reading about their travels and how they converted the old windmill into the...

We stayed here for one night and its a wonderful quirky place. Priscilla and Peter were lovely and welcoming, and their home is an unusual and delightful place to stay. It's a beautiful 18th century windmill with great views across the town. There are lots of unusual and intriguing objects at the Mill that the couple have collected from their...
