My husband and I stayed at the Wyedale for two weeks. We could not have asked for more, Gill is the most gracious host who made every possible effort to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The rooms are absolutely spotless, breakfasts delicious; the house is located on a nice quiet street but within 5 minutes of the town. Highly... More

We had a lovely stay at the Wyedale House, with hostess Gill greeting us and extending every courtesy including a recommendation for dinner at a local pub within walking distance of this very relaxing B&B in a quaint little town. Our twin room had more than ample space, large windows, a tray of snacks and goodies, and beds outfitted for... More

This is the third time I've stayed here and I had the perfect nights sleep. Breakfast again was outstanding and on time at 7:30am. I was supposed to be sharing a room with my dad but as they had a cancellation room they let me have it at no extra cost, simply the best. Looking forward to next year 😀

went to Bakewell without booking anywhere and found Wyedale just about 5 minutes walk from town centre and ideally situated for the river walk. We asked for a double room and got a family room with sleeping for FOUR (only two of us), ensuite, tea, coffee, biscuits etc , full english breakfast if required , and a veryfriendly and helpful... Our family spent holiday here and we were very happy with the accommodation. The room was very clean, beds absolutely comfortable (we slept better then at home!), breakfast tasty. The house has very good location - near of the city centre, but not on the main road (quiet). Bakewell ist also perfect place for visiting the Peak District.

Three friends and myself were looking to spend a countryside weekend away from London when we came across Wyedale B&B. Gill was incredibly accommodating and friendly, with good knowledge of walks in the area. The room we had were perfect for a base, equipped with everything we needed. The cooked breakfast in the morning was lovely also. Would definitely recommend... More

We stayed 1 night in Bakewell at the Wyedale. Gill was very friendly and informative and runs an excellent B&B. Our room was immaculate with a nice bathroom and the breakfast was also excellent. The B&B is a short (500 metre) stroll from the town centre and there are also walks along the river. Recommended.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Wyedale B&B and had a great stay. Every morning, we are greeted by Gill with a sumptuous breakfast of our choice - full English breakfast, kippers, toast, cereal, fruits, etc. Knowing that my husband and I spend most of the day out walking and climbing, Gill really fed us well and made... Just what you need for a place to stay, the owner is very friendly and the rooms nice and clean. The full English breakfast is also perfect way to start your day. This is the second time I've stayed here with my dad and would happily stay again. Thanks, Neil & Brian Coulson
