Over many years I have been to a few "do's" at Hassop Hall. It was now the turn of my wife and I to hold a wedding anniversary party for close friends. We tried several Peak District venues for price, service and what they could offer. Hassop Hall came up trumps on every aspect to accommodate our wishes. The result...

If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable Derbyshire break in an interesting historic hotel, Hassop Hall is ideal. Comfortable, classic decor, outstanding food and probably the best staff and family owners you could find anywhere........they have a natural friendly and helpful approach to their work. Open fires and beamed ceilings in the main rooms are attractive whilst the bedroom...

My boyfriend and I spent a night here at the end of February. Our room was amazing with a four-poster bed and views of both sides of the gardens as we were in a corner room. The bathroom is quite spacious and is well equipped in furniture that maintains the overall concept of the hotel whilst also being modern. Dinner...

We had a one night stay mid week and we were greeted like old friends. Once again, nothing was too much trouble. Attention to detail really makes this hotel special. The front facing room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant menu is extensive and good value for money. The dining room has a wonderful, old fashioned...

A return visit for Sunday lunch with friends. Excellent service from very personable staff and delicious food, as usual. Very little to fault with this venue and definitely value for money. Tradition will hopefully be maintained for some time to come.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish, the staff were very attentive, informed & nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself was spacious, well presented & included many of those little things that make the difference such...

We have eaten and stayed at this hotel many times, I think that says it all. I love this period hotel (more hall than hotel) its like staying in a stately Hall. The welcome by Richard or Tom is so nice, as is the service of the staff, the food is well prepared and served on beautiful white table cloths...

We visited Hassop Hall to celebrate an 80th Birthday on 17th Jan 2015. The hotel is located within driving distance to Chatsworth and is set in its own grounds. We had booked their 4 course meal. Orders and drinks with nibbles taken in the cosy lounge bar before we were shown to our table. Food was delicious . Generous servings...

19/01/15 celebrated my birthday with my husband in the restaurant with dinner. I was a bit apprehensive as to the ambiance on an icy Monday night but it was delightful. From the aperitif in the cosy bar with roaring fire to the lovely dining room with flowers and candle light there were enough guests to make the room 'buzzy'. The...
