Have just returned from a 3 night business trip and an excellent stay here. Lovely spacious room, beautiful grounds and as a gym goer was impressed with the facilities, was not expecting a free weights hall! Very helpful staff, and lovely food. Perhaps a little restricted on the menu front as a veggie, but overall, a lovely place to stay....

Played one round on the Nicklaus and two rounds on the Kernow courses, which were in excellent condition and I would recommend them both. Starters on both courses were always friendly to chat to and would give you some good tips. What lets the resort down is the hotel and the food. For a modern hotel, the place does not...

Just returned from a one night stay with 3 friends. Both golf courses were immaculate, the Nicklaus being one of the best we've all played. Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful at all times. There was a slight mix up with our tee times but this was resolved immediately with no fuss. Dinner and breakfast were both faultless...

We were offered this resort by our timeshare company when our chosen destination became unavailable - we are not golfer, but the accommodation and the spa looked good, so we accepted. The 2 bed lodge was one of the best properties we have swapped to, with open plan kitchen/lounge and separate dining room, plus a handy boot/cloaks/utility room by the...

Myself and 3 friends stayed at St Mellion from the 31st March - 2nd April, and on the whole, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I will break my review into sections below; Lodge - Having read earlier reviews, we knew the decor would be dated, and it was. That said, the lodges are great and are in an ideal location, just...

I attended the Anatomy Lab Live event last night (1/4/17) and was very disappointed about the meal we were served. It was Hunters chicken with chips and vegetables. The cauliflower, broccoli and carrots arrived at the table some 5 minutes before the chicken and chips so was cold by the time they arrived. The chips were oven chips and the...

After paying a considerable amount for a seat on a recent confrence I was quite excited...bigger fool me. As we arrived we asked at reception where we needed to go, to be brushed off swiftly and shortly, and pointed further up the room to a desk. As we were asked to wait in the bar, we decided to order drinks,...

excellent food, nice comfortable room, only downside was the erratic internet connection. Managed to hit the gym in the evenings to burn off the extra calories from the excellent food. All the staff were attentive without being intrusive would definitely stay again if in the area again. Only down side was my room overlooked the car park and some of...

The general resort was OK. Upon arriving Saturday, we were greated at the reseptionan and givern directions to the lodge. The lodge itself was ok the only problems were the appliances in the rooms. The hob cooker would not work, the microwave did not work. so called reception, the lady on reception explained that the hob was "Child locked" and...

We stayed at this resort to celebrate a special birthday with a family party. We booked two lodges which surpassed our expectations They were large and comfortable and very clean. The 1970s decor may seem tired but it was charming especially the bathrooms! Staff were very friendly. The party was very well organised and the food delicious and plentiful -...
