Due to travel change, we stayed in a small back room on the first night, before moving to a front room, which was very spacious, well appointed. Our first time in Sydney for decades, so took a day to work out the bus transport, but not difficult. We had proximity enough to do Luna Pk, Manly, and most of the...

The room was very small. The bed was ok. The bathroom had some new fittings, taps, showerhead, etc but they hadn't bothered to fix the leaning glass shelf above the basin. This was also cracked. No hand towel provided either. Would prefer to stay elsewhere.

I booked this hotel in some urgency as we'd had some issues in our house making it impossible to sleep there overnight. We have a dog and needed a place that was pet friendly. I googled pet friendly hotels North Shore and this hotel was one of the top results. It was close to home and a good price through...

Booked online, have stayed there before. Happy with our stay. We chose the more expensive upstairs room this time - yes, it was a bit larger, but we would probably opt for one of the ordinary ones next time. The room was fine, facilities all worked, staff were helpful (as they were on our previous visit). If you want an...

Got to room, air conditioning wouldn't work, so sat in our hot room for 3 hours, receptionist tried but couldn't get it to work either. Told us she'd talk to her manager, but we would be moved. Air con worked straight away in new room. However the manager told us the next day there was nothing wrong with the air...

This is a simple hotel - it is fairly basic, with none of the glamour of some of the hotels I've reviewed. However, along with the simplicity are two things the fancier hotels have forgotten. The air conditioning works, is quiet and is easy to manipulate. What a relief not to have to constantly try to adjust and find no...

king size beds - queen size bed linen!!!!!! Poor TV reception ...musty smelling rooms ...sure it is not 5 star .they say 3.5 star but a 2 would be closer to the mark! It is way overpriced. The only redeeming feature is the location ...

Atrocious very poor the location is great with a view of the park, however, the breakfast was terrible for $7 . The apple juice was cloudy and tasted like it had been recycled for way to long milk on the way out. I will say that the bedding was clean and comfortable. My son fell down the very narrow steps....

I come to Sydney every 3 - 4 months for a night to catch up with friends. The North Shore Hotel is ideally located for my meeting as it is close to bus transport and not to far from rail. The reception is very welcoming and the rooms, although basic, are clean and comfortable.

I booked this very close to my departure for Sydney bi arrived late , the keys and info were waiting at reception. The room was very clean and comfy. Bathroom had a hair dryer. Also had a laundry which is a bonus when you travel. The breakfast veranda was very pleasant. And $7 for brekky was very affordable. I will...
