The most wonderfull place for a honeymoon, beautiful beaches and very friendly staff gives you the most relaxed vacation you can imagine. We were especially happy with a worker named Satar who does not let any couple go without a smile on their face. Stop by for flower decorations known throughout the whole island. For the best cocktails and great service, look for a waiter named Dileepa, but I want to praise also to the rest of the staff of Cinnamon Dhonveli. Best food!

Simply the most incredible resort, particularly made wonderful by the staff! Firstly apologies to the staff for not writing this sooner - i apologise for my delay. This island is absolutely stunning, just a short boat ride from Male. We were greeted by Sara, who upgraded us to the over water bungalows - such a piece of paradise, seclusion, and privacy. Each has a wonderful bathroom, huge bedroom and outside decking area, with steps down to the water, good for snorkeling but the currents are strong and there is alot of coral. The food is outstanding on the island and i have travelled far and wide. Food is generally what makes it for me and there was so much diversity, such incredible flavours, it was exciting to go to each meal!! Lasaan looked after us at each meal, with a lovely smile on his face! The island is stunning and you can snorkel right off the beach, just meters out to a reef full of fish! It is worth doing the turtle snorkel tour with Thoha - just simply incredible. Osi at the beach bar is so much fun - cheeky grin and full of mischief!! Raja, each day made sure we had sunbeds on the beach and is simply the kindest most honest human being..... we kept leaving stuff on our beds and he would take it in overnight for us and give to us in the morning. Dileepa at the sunset bar also has a special spot in our hearts, the best whisky sours!! We have booked this morning to come back again at christmas (fingers crossed with travel being allowed), to come and see Dileepa in the newly renovated surf bar - we can't wait!! Sattar - thank you for our garland necklace. WE love you all so very much for making our stay so wonderful, but more so for being the beautiful people you are. Best resort for vacation. Lots of excursions to go and the weather is fantastic, even if its raining you got 28 degrees of celsius and the rain last few minutes. Cinnamon dhonveli is beautifull you will have the whole maldives experinece. Every picture you take here looks like a postcard. Whatever you forgot to bring with you they will have it. The stuff is very very nice and they really want for you to enjoy your stay. And last but not least I need to mention the biggest heart of cinnamon, Sattar, his biggest motivation is to make you smile with his self harvested and brid flowers that he prepares for you so you walk around with a big smile😊

The time we spent here has been really amazing. Customer service 100 % , all the staff was very nice and always with smile in there faces , very helpful , professional, polite, that's really I appreciate. All rooms are away from the entertainment so is generally quiet
There is not a hotel they are all rooms the beach bungalows are nice but the lowest price rooms are by reception you have own private piece of beach..they are the superior rooms ....hope this is helpful and enjoy every minute when and if you go

You do not have to get dressed up to go to the dining room - just no wet bathing suits the sign said....there’s a made to order salad bar, tons of fruit, made to order pasta station, tons of Indian food that was out of this world, falafel one night, steak, sausages and burgers one night, pizza, really anything you can imagine! And yes it is all buffet style except the stations like salad and pasta, as I said, those were made to order.
