This hotel was so comfortable. It's not modern but that's what we liked. Beds were comfortable, we had two great nights. Food in bar delicious as was breakfast. The place was exceptionally clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Loved every minute.

Room was large but very outdated. Something dripped from light fixture onto my head while at the sink. Our room was noisy; guess walls were thin. On the positive side - location in Kenmare was great; ample, convenient free parking; and very nice breakfast included. The award winning porridge was out of this world.

We were driving through Ireland and stopped here for the night. We didn't have any reservations. The very nice clerk offered to show us our room before we rented it and it was perfect. There is music in the bar, but we couldn't hear it. Even if we could, it doesn't go too late. Beds were comfortable, shower was great,... More

We ate lunch in the bar - our meal was tasty, keenly priced & the staff were friendly, polite & welcoming. Staying one nite at the Hotel was a lovely experience too. Our young daughter described the ladies servicing us breakfast as 'SO nice' & we were all delighted with the breakfast we ate - the black pudding was 'perfect'.

While not cheap, this hotel is reasonable and equal to other local establishments. We paid $100 and that included breakfast which had a great selection. Bed was very comfortable and the street was quiet. The only complaint was that our bathroom's fan did not work so the bathroom got steamy very quick and was difficult to air out. Would stay... More

We loved our stay in Lansdowne Arms Hotel, such a great location to experience real Irish entertainment, visit the many Restaurants and Pubs and then ramble back to the Hotel. Breakfast filled us up for the day, I had the Porridge and secret ingredient! and it was delicious. Will certainly return.

We were checked in by a most friendly receptionist Aoife. She offered us a choice of 2 rooms.......we chose one to the back of the hotel. The ground floor of the hotel is real olde world style with a warming fire burning in the lobby, the bedroom is a bit dated but clean and well accomodated my only complaint is... More

Stayed here one night on my trip through the ring of Kerry. Hotel was in a great spot if you are driving and is convenient to walk around town. Pub was nice although I didn't eat there they seemed to have a lot of locals who did. Room was not huge but was fine and it was quiet even though... More

Bright large room very clean with comfortable bed. Best breakfast for a long time cooked fresh and to order served by very friendly staff. Very nice bar with a decent pint. Great location in the centre of town and close to all amenities

1 night stay. The plus for this hotel is that its staff are excellent so the service is great. Also very clean hotel although there seemed to be a bit of a stale smell in the bar so we declined the opportunity to eat there. Our biggest disappointment was the room . To say we took a step back In... More
