What a charming place. The host was so warm and welcoming. My boyfriend and I stayed here a few months back for a weekend get away. Our room had a beautiful view of the water. The room was very quaint with quirky details as was the rest of the house. An amazing breakfast was served to us on both mornings....

Run by Hannah Boland, this upmarket B&B has only about 5 rooms. The location is very pretty - overlooking Kenmare River, and only a 10 minute stroll outside the town. The double rooms looking out to the front are spacious, and elegantly furnished - however a single room at the back was somewhat small and cramped. The welcome and hospitality...

What a lovely place. We happened on this place by pure chance. We had driven from Kinsale through the Mizen head peninsula and needed a place to stay before embarking on the ring of Kerry. We had stopped at Molly Gallivans Cottage (a must stop) to see the great views. When we asked if their was someplace in Kenmare to...

What a wonderful experience! Hannah was so warm and open, and the food, beds and rooms all TOP NOTCH! She gave us great tips about the area and what we needed to see (did not have much time in Ireland). Totally understand why she has a five star rating! Would go back in a heartbeat! Also felt that she was...

We booked 9 months ahead and reconfirmed 4 months before arrival, but when we arrived the hostess looked at us like we were from Mars. She had no record of our reservation and basically blamed us for booking too early, and looked at our email printouts very skeptically. To her credit, she eventually pulled herself together enough to apologize and...

We stayed at Muxnaw Lodge for two nights. Hannah was very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The room was a delight with beautiful views of the Bay. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choices. Hannah's knowledge of the area and where to dine out was second to none. Would certainly stay again. Home away from Home.

My husband and I stopped here on a whim after driving the Ring of Kerry because of the proximity to restaurants and the great view. Fortunately, they had a room available and I am so glad they did. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, water pressure in the shower was strong and there was...
