We chose Virginia's because of the great reviews; and we had a great stay there for two nights. Neil met us at the door and welcomed us like old friends into his home. We had a comfy room on the third floor, facing Henry Street. The next morning we met Noreen, and then were treated to the most filling and...

Virginia's Guesthouse is delightful in every way. Neil greeted us and from that moment on, we felt completely at home. He was so helpful with our bags, making dinner reservations for us, and providing us with insight for our touring the next day. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable -- beautifully appointed and furnished. The next morning we finally...

As far as accommodations go, this was the highlight of our trip. The room itself was cozy. The bed was comfortable and the size of the room was nice compared to some other B&Bs we stayed in throughout Ireland. There is a safe in the room and there was satellite tv with a ton of channels. There was also a...

We recently returned from a road trip of Ireland, and spent a night at Virginia's Guesthouse. This B & B is very conveniently located on the main street of Kenmare. We were only there for one night, but found it to be a perfect place to spend the night. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were very...

Stayed at Virginia's for three nights, over the May Day Bank Holiday. Couldn't fault the whole experience from our arrival to departure! Noreen's fantastic breakfasts were the highlight of our stay! We had a lovely room, really clean with comfortable beds and brilliant shower. Tea and coffee available in the library - also a chance to meet and chat to...

Great hospitality in a great guesthouse in a great town. Neil and Noreen are a delight. We spent three nights and it was very enjoyable. Kenmare has everything a tourist would want, without the crowds and traffic of Killarney.

Some stays are wonderful. Some stays are memorable. Some stays are so perfect that you become irrationally angry at other TripAdvisor users who give the property anything less than an excellent review. Virginia's Guesthouse is one of the latter. It was, by far, the single most outstanding experience I have ever had at a B&B. I can't think of a...

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Virginias Guest House at the end of January thisyear for 4 nights. We chose Virginias from all the wonderful reviews we had read on Trip Advisor. Our stay with Noreen and Neil was great! Their guesthouse was very nice and clean. We would love to return and stay longer in the area..... we were only there one night. The house has a lot of personal history to Neil and Noreen- it was great hearing their stories over breakfast (which was excellent). Noreen went out of her...
