I found Tara Farms when researching B&Bs for my trip to Ireland in late August, 2014 and thought that the pictures of the property made it look like a quaint Irish farm house and I was not disappointed. I was able to get 2 rooms for a very reasonable price. The rooms were spacious and well decorated/appointed. I had a...

We arrived late in Kenmare and came to Tara's farm with no reservation, but 2 rooms were available so we could stay for the night. The house is a 10 minutes walk to Kenmare centre, however be sure to have a light with you as the road is very dark ! Our room on the 1st floor had a small...

We enjoyed our recent stay at Tara Farm. The room was very comfortable with a queen size bed, large nicely tiled bathroom, great wifi connection, plenty of plugs for hair dryer and charging cell phones, and a good breakfast. The smoked salmon with scrambled eggs was delish! The view from the B&B is gorgeous and it is walking distance into...

After driving all day, we arrived at Tara Farm exhausted and looking forward to the warm welcome we had received as so many Irish B&Bs previously. When we walked in, a woman acted very surprised to see us even though we had booked months in advance. Without so much as a hello, she quickly said, "We are not taking any...

Our stay at Tara Farm was great. We had a beautiful second floor room with a balcony and great views. WiFi was not great in our room but worked well in the breakfast dining room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great location and lots to see and do in the area. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend this B&B.

This was a lovely B 'n B with a fabulous view of cow pastures and Kenmare Bay beyond our ground floor patio doors. We had a very nice size room, though the bathroom was very small. Soap for the shower was not provided, so make sure you have your own. There was plenty of choices for a hot breakfast, and...

We spent a night at Tara Farm -- excellent accommodation and great breakfast. The house is only 10-15 minutes walk away from the town. Our room had a stunning view over the mountains and the sea. Kinmare is a lovely little town with loads of nice restaurants, and quaint shops. Excellent atmosphere - we really enjoyed our short stay. (Very...

We stayed at this B & B for two nights, June 24th & 25th, 2013. Our room was large and immaculate with a beautiful view out the back of the house overlooking Kenmare Bay. The first evening we took a 20 minute walk into the centre of the quaint town of Kenmare for a wonderful meal at the Coachman Hotel...

We remembered well our stay at Tara Farm some years ago. Now we brought our sister with us and it was no problem for Ann to make the reservation for 3. Both rooms had an excellent view, an admirable furniture and the best standard of comfort. We - all 3 over 70 - never slept better. A warm welcome, great...
