We were traveling with two small children and another family with two small children. We each had booked individual quad rooms. TL;DR Hostess gave unwelcoming vibe. When we had arrived, the hostess looked at us in shock, and it almost seemed like she had no clue who we could be. We told her we had booked a night here, "All...

Generally I don’t bother with weaselley words from peeved cyber warriors tripped out on TripAdvisor’s high octane anonymity . I am old fashioned enough to believe issues are best resolved at the time and face to face. However, I well recall you and your young children . I am Paul, the “host” who apparently “pleasantly surprised” you with my “charm...

Even though it's only a short walk to the town centre, Willow Lodge is an oasis of calm in busy Kenmare. Paul is a wonderful and helpful host. His breakfasts are excellent, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We highly recommend Willow Lodge.

We stayed here two nights, Very nice room with a big Jacuzzi. A short walk into town for dining. Paul was very helpful with had-drawn maps for our travels and dinner recommendation. Also a great sense of humor.

This is a very nice B&B only a few blocks from the town center. The room was quiet and the host Paul, was pleasant and entertaining! Breakfast was cooked to order. It was a good choice and we'd stay again.

Paul and Greta are gracious and welcoming hosts with a huge amount of helpful information about the local surroundings as well as anything and everything you're planning to do in Ireland! They made a couple of excellent recommendations on places to go nearby and we were grateful they had as it made our trip even better. Willow Lodge is near...

My girlfriend and I stayed in Willow Lodge last weekend as we were attending a wedding in Kenmare. Both the husband and wife of the B&B were very friendly. The location is a minute's walk from the town as well which is ideal. The breakfast both morning was delicious as well. My only slight grievance was that €100 a night...

This B/B was a great place to stay for my family and me during our visit to Kenmare. Paul could not have been a better host and the room was neat and clean. Breakfast was outstanding and Paul helped us with our plans for each day. Highly recommended!

Myself and the husband stayed there for one night and had a wonderful time. Our hosts were so helpful, friendly, and funny. Great recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do. Breakfast was lovely but best of all it was so wonderful and quiet. Slept so well. Would recommend. Lovely spot.

Paul was an amazing host; he helped us with a plan for one of our 2 days--the weather was beyond an Irish must so we needed something that involved a bit of indoor time. He provided great recommendations for sights around Killarney and a scenic drive that despite the rain was beautiful. The quad room was quite large and comfortable...

I am currently on a 10 day tour along th wild Atlantic way from Kinsale to Donegal with stops on route . I never book accommodation until last minute , but I thought that on a Tuesday or Wednesday in Kenmare it should not be a problem . I tried a couple of my usual places , sold out ,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Willow Lodge, quietly situated in the grounds of the former Convent, is an "ideal location" as guests say, being only a short two minute stroll from the centre of town (three in heels !) And so away from the noise and bustle of the streets in town and the traffic. Parking is free here in our grounds and free WiFi is available for our guests convenience. So, no need to worry about what might happen to your car on the street overnight, or about town's hustle and noise coming up from the street or about dodging the early morning traffic warden. Our fees reflect the convenience of our proximity to town but if town is not busy an appropriate reduction may be offered. ... more   less
