This is a very nice spot to stay in if you are planning on doing any touring. The Ring of Kerry and Kerry Way are on your doorstep! They seem to have a new website up if anyone would like to have a look 'www.druidcottagekenmare.com'. They have some good photos on it. Gives you a feel for the place! :)

Druid Cottage is a charming home, not a hotel, with a lovely family as the hosts (including the 17-year-old daughter and the 4-year-old dog, Jack). Our rooms were tight, but charming, and who cares if the modernized bathrooms aren't grandiose?! Knowing we had to leave at the crack of dawn to reach Shannon Airport in time for our return flight,...

My husband and I stayed here one night. Our room was sufficient. I thought the name Druid Cottage sounded so mysterious, and expected the house to have some sort of 'history' so I was a little disappointed when Bernadette said it is just a few-hundred years old house. Our room was nice, if a bit small. Bathroom small too. We...

This B&B is quite old, so maybe it is why the room was damp, cold and smelled heavily of mold and mildew. The bed linens were wet, sheets and spread, and stank. It was hard to sleep as the beds were hard and wet. It was hard to breathe with all the mold in the air. Stairs were hard to...

Although the place looks pleasant from the outside, the rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller. The Landlady was very unfriendly. I was booked in to this place for a cycling trip and had to go there twice. Thankfully the Landlady was not there for the 2nd visit. Hoever, on the first stay, it was raining in the morning...

This B&B is a 2-storey stone building within walking distance to town. The host was friendly, and the breakfast was good, but the overall impression was just average due to the slightly run-down condition of the rooms, and the cleanliness of the bed linen. Any renovations must have been done some time ago. We had the downstairs room at the...
