We stayed a night along with friends of ours. We were greeted by Frank who kindly changed our room at the last minute to accommodate my request for a bed without a footboard (I am 6' 5" tall). Frank was wonderful and humorous. When Helen came home, we found a hostess who loves to do exactly what she is doing:...

What a delightful find the Oldchurch House was! Our hosts were quite charming...really worked together as a team. We really liked our room...ground floor, no carpet...and my husband rated the shower as the best one he had been in thus far in Ireland. Lovely breakfast with a lovely view...definitely recommend it for anyone traveling in the area.

My husband, our 4 year old son, and I spent two wonderful days and nights in Kenmare in mid-August and we could not have picked a more lovely and hospitable place to park our car and our tired feet. Helen and Frank are wonderful, their home is warm and comfortable and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. I...

Helen and Frank McGonigle are lovely hosts with a lovely B & B. We felt right at home and our room was lovely, spacious and very clean. We arrived as Helen & Frank were planning for the 150th celebration of their church. Frank showed us the book that was just published by the church called " Holy Cross Church Kenmare...

As soon as we pulled in the driveway we knew we were going to have a wonderful stay. Frank welcomed us and showed us to our room because Helen was away, and as soon as she arrived home she welcomed us like long lost relatives. Our room was spacious and bright with a large bathroom, bed was very comfortable. The...

We arrived at Kenmare in the evening and were greeted by Frank. He set us up and then gave us advice on places to get some supper. When we returned home a group of guests were also coming back from a tour of the Ring of Kerry. These guests were American too and we found out that Penn State was...

The house is lovely, and the welcome is even lovelier! Helen and Frank were so kind in more ways than I can count. I happened to be travelling by myself, so I especially appreciated how they went out of their way to help me with all the logistics of my stay in the area. Even though I was in Kenmare...

We spent several nights with Helen and Frank at the Old Churchhouse B and B in Kenmare. This was the second B and B, of our Ireland trip, and since the first in Ennis was no nice, we wondered if this could compare favorably. It certainly did. The house his very clean, comfortable and attractive. The view from our bedroom...

Stayed here for two nights and our host Helen couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Gave us great tips on where to go during our stay. The room was really nice and clean. The b+b is only half a mile from the town. Really enjoyed our weekend in Kenmare, and would definitely return to Oldchurch House.
