You can take a shower in this hotel even if you are not a guest. It's useful if you make a roadtrip and sleep in a car like we did. :) We also met a very pleasant staff, who gave us useful advice about trip to Mount Brandon.

I recenty stayed at An Bothar for one night while walking the Dingle Way and it is ideal for that purpose ... - big nicely decorated bedrooms; - the bathroom was big with a large bath (shower over) which was welcome after a long day of walking; - An Bothar is directly on the trail and positioned close to the...

Got lost searching for a recommended restaurant on the tip of the peninsula and stopped here out of hunger. Pleasant surprise. Watched Gaelic football while having crab sandwiches and soup. Vegetarian companions who do eat fish were quite happy. Friendly service.

Stopped here as we were driving the Slea Head Road on the Dingle Peninsula, just because it looked like an interesting place for a pint of Guinness. We walked in at the very tale end of the Irish Football Final, during what was obviously a very exciting match. I don't know anything about the game, but I know I felt...

We stayed here while walking the dingle way. The place is really nicely located. The room was fine. However the service was very unpersonal compared to other b&b's we stayed in. It is more like a hotel and doesn't feel like a family-run place at all. I think you can find nicer places in the area.

Stayed in An Bothar with friends for 2 nights while walking Dingle Way. Rooms were large and well finished, showers super. We were made feel so welcome in this family run business and enjoyed trying our school Irish. We ate there both nights and we were all delighted with our food. Ideal spot to stay if doing the Dingle Way.

I stayed there when walking the Dingle way, and had a wonderful stay! The rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was tasty, and best of all was the staff, who went out of their way to help guests and make them feel welcome.

We walked the dingle-way the "wrong direction", so we came directly from the mount brandon. Glad that the An Bothar hasn't been so far from the mountain, while it was a strong hike, we went stright to the pub. We had our tents with us, and they allowed us, to put the tents (for 10€ inkl. shower) in the garden...

Tried here after being recommended by a friend. Overall disappointed with experience. Food was overpriced for what we got and service was only ok. Chicken pesto pasta was €17 ( with no veg, small amount of chicken and no pesto) 2 of the party had to wait for potato and veg to go with their steak and 1 of the...
