Hard to add anything to previous reviews. We had a 4 night stay with Mrs K and her staff. A modern building with very nice views to the front, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Our room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. The en suite bathroom was small but provided with a full range of toiletries. A wide variety of breakfast options -- had we exploited them fully we would hardly have needed to eat again for 24 hours! The weather was very mixed and we were glad to make use of the excellent wi-fi. Mrs K and her staff work hard, pay attention to small details, and are very welcoming. We hope to return.

Coming from Australia we were delighted with this beautiful property. Traveling with my daughter and partner we had 2 equally beautiful and comfortable rooms. Nothing has been missed. Beautiful room and bathroom thoughtfully equipped with personal toiletries. The views were breathtaking, close to Dingle centre and on the road to the Dingle Peninsula. Breakfast was perfect. A large menu of home cooked meals to choose from, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, steaming coffee and tea, homemade read, cooked breakfasts, crepes … Delicious. So highly recommended. The Short Strand B&B is located about 3 driving minutes out of town making it a perfect balance of accessible and quiet. The view from this property is gorgeous. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable, and relaxing space. The hostess drove us into town for dinner and we took an cab ride back. It was perfect.

Myself, my daughter and partner stayed here for a weekend and what a stay it was. The B&B was amazing, very clean, big spacious room with an en suite bathroom, sanitizers throughout the B&B and the view from the B&B is absolutely beautiful. The B&B is situated about 3-5 minute drive from dingle town. Kathleen is an amazing host, went out of her way to make sure we had a lift into the town and to get back. The staff are also amazing. Great breakfast menu also. Next time we visit dingle we will definitely hope to stay here again :)

Just back from a 2 night stay. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Rooms were immaculate and well decorated, plenty of space. Best Breakfast I have had...such a big choice (fruit, cereals, porridge and cooked choices) with a view to admire whilst sitting eating your breakfast. Kathleen was a fantastic host, we asked for a few additional things and it was no problem. Based just outside of Dingle, a perfect location, quiet. Highly recommend ...when I am back in Dingle will stay again x

My sister had stayed with Kathleen in the short strand last year and she loved it so much that we all booked to go this year to see what the hype was all about and she certainly didn’t disappoint....the decor of the B&B and the hosting skills from Kathleen are second to none. Nothing is too much of an ask for this lady and she will always make sure to drop you into the town and ensure you have a way home - ideal for a couples staycation and near a lovely scenic cliff walk for those that want to walk off Kathleen’s delicious breakfast! The short strand is a must for anyone that is in the area on holiday and looking for an excellent B&B!!

We loved our stay here. The host was wonderful and helpful with suggestions about where to eat and go in Dingle. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again if traveling to Dingle.

It's a very nice and quite B&B in the area of Dingle . The rooms are nice with shower . Not big rooms , but very clean and confortable . The breakfast is excellent , everything done at the moment . Good choice and quality. The only thing to underline , the B&B is not in downtown Dingle , but at 10 minutes by car . That means it's better to have a car . In any case I would really recommend this B&B !!

We had a wonderful two night stay with Kathleen in this excellent B and B. The rooms are beautiful and the view from the house is stunning. What I enjoyed most was the incredible breakfast. It really was the best we have had in a very long time. The crepes were awesome and the fry was delicious. Dingle is a wonderful place to stay and this is the perfect place to enjoy it from. Just a short trip from downtown Dingle. Great breakfast, comfortable beds and friendly proprietor with good food and drink recommendations in town. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Would stay here again.

They have what Americans call an ensuite "bathroom." A bath right off your room. But that usually means at least a shower. Not necessarily a bathtub. We had a lovely big shower. No tub.
When we stayed at Short Strand Dingle, I had a conversation with Kathleen the proprietor and she said that she only had one room set up with single beds as the bedding arrangement- would pay to check though.
There are more places to choose from in the Dingle area.
