We stayed in Greenmount House for four nights in early August and I can honestly say it tops any hotel, or guesthouse I have visited in Ireland.

From the moment we arrived Gary and the team made us feel welcome. From the helpful tips and advice on things to do in the area, to the delicious breakfast and immaculate rooms - the service we received was exceptional on all counts.

The location, just a few minutes walk from the town is ideal and when the weather is good you can sit out on the balcony or the deck and enjoy the amazing views of the sea and surrounding countryside.

I would recommend Greenmount House to anyone visiting Dingle - we'll certainly be back.

We spent a lovely 2 nights in Greenmount everything from the check in to check out was a pleasure. Such a well run property. Breakfast had a great selection also. Covid measures were in place throughout the premise and during breakfast each morning staggered times ment the breakfast room was never full anf social distancing was maintained. Greenmount is a short stroll into the centre of Dingle. Our room was nicely decorated nice thick carpets and good quality bedding rooms were cleaned daily, the turn down service each night was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere in dingle.

Before we’d even finished our first night at this commendation, we were recommending this house to all our family and friends. We had never stayed at a house/b+b before and were concerned that maybe walls would be thin or rooms would be old fashioned. How wrong we were.

Upon check-in the loveliest woman (recently back from Australia) greeted us and gave us a tour of the House. The views from the kitchen were panoramic and clear from every angle and we were informed that not only would we be eating breakfast there but due to COVID restrictions we could bring back takeaway food too. Another thing this tour revealed was the abundance of armchairs and seats positioned at windows to enjoy the views of Dingle (which are spectacular).

Upon getting to our room, we could see the incredible views from our massive window, exactly as promised. The balcony was great also, small but wide enough for two people to sit outside in the sun with a drink or a snack to soak in the scenery. The rooms were stunning, with extremely comfortable beds, all the facilities you would need and even books compiled on the various things to do in the area. Another touch we really appreciated was access to our rooms through the back door, which allowed for us to return to our room without walking through the lobby if we so pleased.

The breakfast both mornings was spectacular. You sit down and have a buffet of yoghurts and cereal to choose from to get you started. Then you’re given a menu which you can order your eggs/Irish fry up from. The food was incredible and coffee, tea and orange juice never went a moment without being refilled. Breakfast was truly a 5 star experience.

Lastly, the staff, particularly Gary, were incredibly accommodating. He made us feel as if no ask was too big and that the top priority was us having an enjoyable time.

In summary, Greenmount House was a staycation experience that not only will we never forget, but we’re sure to repeat. The only way to get service equally as kind with views as spectacular and food as tasty is to spend four as much somewhere else. Stay at the Greenmount, trust us!

We first stayed here back in the 80's All the rooms have been upgraded to their elegant high standard of today. The warmth, friendliness, 1st class breakfast attention to detail we are delighted to say is still carried on by the next generation of Currans. It is as good if not better than any boutique hotel from extra king beds to rain showers, bed turn down service, beautiful cozy sitting rooms to enjoy a cuppa or a glass of vino while you have lunch and enjoy the breathtaking views over Dingle. We Will be back - we just loved every minute of our stay

We had an excellent stay in Greenmount House in August for 2 nights which started with a lovely welcome on arrival. The host, Gary, also provided really helpful suggestions on what we could do in the area during our stay. We had a ground floor traditional double room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The guesthouse is only a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Dingle so the location is brilliant. Best part of the stay however was breakfast (which we'd rate far ahead of any hotels we've stayed in)! It's served in a room overlooking Dingle Bay with lovely views and the food is excellent! All the ingredients were super fresh and the menu had lots of delicious options as well as tasty breads / scones and tea / coffee. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back!

My very favourite Irish accommodation. This place ticks all the boxes. The house itself is beautiful as is the location yet the town centre is a short walk away. Truly the best of all worlds. I splurged for a sea view room which i would highly recommend. Even if the weather isn’t conducive to sitting on the balcony you can sit on the couch and enjoy the beautiful sea view from the comfort of your room. The room is very spacious, attractively decorated, comfortable, has an amazing bed and the bathroom is up-to-date and has a walk-in shower and a large tub with a skylight. The room also had a good reading light which is a rare find in hotels. The breakfast room has lovely sea views and the best breakfast I have had anywhere. There is a large selection of top quality items including a variety of fresh fruit salads, yogurts, cereals, granolas in addition to hot items available from the menu which get top marks for both taste and presentation. After a full day excursion, I decided to have dinner in my room and the cheese platter with a dessert was the perfect answer. Last but not least was the great help from and hospitality provided by Gary. Many thanks.

Really enjoyed our stay at Greenmount house. The room was spacious, well presented, and clean. The view over Dingle bay is probably the best you can get at a BnB. The communal areas are very well presented and comfortable. The breakfast selection was excellent, very impressed that there were two vegan options on the menu. My only suggestions would be a top sheet on the bed would be nice, and check-in needs to be more streamlined. it took far too long for us to check-in.

Attention to detail is what makes the Greenmount House stand out.
Most facilities offer hairdryers but GH includes a diffuser (ladies, you know!). There was a delightful tray with the supplies for French press coffee in my room each morning- down to the bitty creamers in the fridge. Who does that?!? GH does. There was even a small jar of bath salts for me to use in the tub, which was heaven after a long day of hiking. And you know how so many of the showers in Ireland are so small you can barely turn around? Not at GH! There is room to turn around and shave without bruising a shoulder- and the towels are on a heating rack!!! The breakfasts are phenomenal, but the other reviewers have that covered. There are fresh flowers on the table, the facilities are immaculate, and they subtly showcase other artists as seen in the use of Louis Mulcahy’s plates (and they aren’t cheap); the sculptures in corners and on shelves, and the cabinet with gorgeous pie from Holden Leather. What I loved best was the comforter as it was the perfect balance between warmth and softness. And be sure to try the hot pepper chutney/jelly if they have it- you won’t be sorry.
Thanks to the hosts and staff at Greenmount!

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. We were treated enthusiastically by Gary the owner who gave us lots of information about places to go and things to do during our visit. He showed us to our lovely room which was spacious and spotlessly clean with amazing views over the bay. Even though there was tea and coffee making facilities he brought us a pot of fresh tea and some home made citrus cake which was delicious. Breakfast was amazing and the standard exceeded most of the 4 and 5 star hotels we have stayed in. A wide range of buffet items that would cater for even the fussiest diner. Home made wheaten and soda bead and fresh scones on the table. A large choice of cooked breakfasts including porridge, french toast and vegetarian and vegan options. I ordered crepes on my last morning and they were amazing! Served with an array of fresh fruit and berries.
We visited Dingle at a time when the traditional pubs were closed due to Covid so we were back at the B&B early in the evening. We were able to sit in the cosy sitting room and enjoy a glass of cold wine from the fridge before turning in. This is a first class facility and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you to Gary, Danny and your wonderful staff.

I stayed at the Greenmount House in late September. I cannot say enough good things about it. The location is up on a hill just outside of town centre. The views are magnificent over the bay and it's just a short walk into town. The rooms are beautiful and well decorated, as is the entire property. Staff are fantastic and friendly and make you feel like you're at your own home. There are thoughtful touches like a book exchange, fluffy warm blankets outside, fireplaces going throughout. I would highly recommend this place for couples or anyone who may want to have a bit more of a luxurious and peaceful stay in Dingle. I will be back. Thank you

Our seaview superior room (#25, I think) was very comfortable with one additional twin bed brought in, but I'm not sure whether it would take two. Check on their website for the hotel email address & write to them (TA won't allow me to post it here!).....I'm sure he or Maria would get back to you quickly!!!! Have a fabulous trip!
