Recently returned from Dingle. The Grapevine Hostel was recommended by a colleague who has a home in Dingle. My friend and I loved this hostel. This was my first hostel experience. Siohban (owner) and Johnny (house manager) make this hostel such a wonderful place. We sat in the den by the fire each night. There were guests that would sit... More

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in April 2014 when we stayed here. The employee, Johnny was very accommodating and helpful! He even took us and other guests around the town one evening! We had such a blast getting to know the other hostel guests and there was a lot of comradery. The beds and facilities were clean,... More

I think management do a good job here, the staff are very helpful. It's a bit dingy on the inside. The beds were rather old and I had several coils sticking into my spine all night long. I think it is truly a backpackers hostel - not one I would rave about, but fine for the one night we stayed... More

This place is fine if you are a backpacker travelling type used to hostels and communal living. We stayed here because we left it too late to book anywhere else and it is just not for me. The staff were lovely; couldn't be more helpful; the hostel provides bread and milk and so on free of charge. The other guests... More

Couldn't give this place six stars, so five will have to do. Everything here is class, from the accommodations, to the proprietor and her staff (who have no reservations about showing you a good time around town), to it's location - which couldn't be better. I've stayed in many hostels over my journey through Ireland and Europe at large, and... More

Loved my stay in this hostel. It has a great atmosphere which is down to the management. They are very friendly and make you feel at home straight away. The rates are reasonable and the rooms are nice.I would love to have stayed here longer. Great little place.

As a person who is not fond of hostels I was pleasantly surprised how lovely the Grapevine is. Myself and two friends stayed for 3 nights in a private room with our own bathroom. Siobhan welcomed us and was friendly and helpful through out our stay. Even though the hostel seemed quite full it was so quiet, a respectful group... More

The Grapevine Hostel was a peaceful place to stay and only a 5 minute walk from where the bus drops you off. It had working WiFi and a great, cozy atmosphere. You can do your own thing and won't be bothered by anyone, but people are friendly too. It's also right next to a bike rental place, which I found... More

I'm just back from what has to be the best hostel in Dingle. I travelled alone but after 5 mins in the Grapevine I wasn't alone for long. Siobhan the owner made me feel very at home and Jonny the manager was just fantastic, he made sure I had a nice warm fire lighting one of the nights when I... More
