Myself and partner stayed in a sea view room on the top floor. The room was clean and exceeding all covid standard requirements. As well as that the room had an ensuite with decent shower , comfy bed and plenty of storage space. The views from the window are great overlooking the harbour.

The room also had a smart tv with netflix which was great to chill after exploring all day.

The house itself is lovely and in the best location in Dingle. There is no reserved parking and parking across the road is 1 euro an hour upto 8pm. However directly outside the house there is free parking on the street and in the evening there are spaces or in the morning.

The staff Karen and Ann were lovely , really excellent!!

I didn't have breakfast in the morning but Ann was always offering coffee and biscuits. Was very nice having at the outside seating area in the morning looking at the harbour.

Only con would be as it's an old house there is no sound proofing so you can hear noise from rooms next to you. This didn't bother me at all anyway but is worth pointing out.

Overall it's excellent value for money and I would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Waterfront. From the moment we arrived until we left we were delighted with the service and the beautiful room. We were assured of the rigorous hygiene routine that this B&B adheres to. The room was immaculate and we were surprised to find we had a sitting area as well as a bedroom looking out to the beautiful garden. This was great for pre drinks before heading out. I’m gluten free and dairy free so I was delighted to be able to toast my bread in the morning with no issue. The host was extremely helpful with parking and even restaurant suggestions. We went on one of her suggestions and thoroughly enjoyed dinner. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and really can’t wait to stay there again! We moved on to Killarney the day after to a 4 star hotel which palled in comparison to this little gem. We were only sorry we didn’t stay there for our full trip away. Thank you for everything and see you soon.

Nice Location with view of water.

The Westport is located along the main waterfront street. The hotel is good for a visit to Dingle. All of the town amenities are within walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side but they are sufficient and very clean. The lodge does have the ability to provide breakfast, but we opted out. Parking is available on the street or across the street at the large parking lot which is used for daytime use. There is no private parking lot.

Karen, the receptionist at the front desk, is very friendly and helpful. She even baked us fresh cookies during one of the days. There is no elevator so you need to be able to walk up stairs if your room is on the top floor.

Disappointing stay here sadly.

While the location is good it’s not much better than the other offerings in the town.

I arrived in dingle with a group and compared to the others accommodation for 2/3rds of the price the waterfront is found to be severely lacking.

In fairness the greeting was warm and welcoming and the room was clean. Bed also comfortable.

I was staying in room number 6 a smaller room with a garden view (very small window you can’t see out of unless you get on your hand and knees!)

But make no mistake about it the room is very small. Barely enough space both sides of the bed to stand wouldnt recommend for a couple

The shower was an adequate size but the toilet in a separate smaller cupboard wouldnt suit anyone used to a bit of space. The sink in the toilet cupboard is tiny.

I was charged €110 for the night with no breakfast included before I even got to see my room haha!

While there are tea and coffee facilities in the room my kettle didn’t seem to be working and I had no teaspoons and there were none in the communal area downstairs when I got up.

Can’t recommend as no real value for money I certainly won’t be staying here again.

Go elsewhere unless you’re seriously stuck for digs.

The Bad;
Ok - I don’t like having to write negative reviews but after travelling and staying at 14 other B and Bs in the past 2 months it’s fair to say there were comparisons to be made!
The room was so small there was no room to place even a small suitcase. (As a previous reviewer correctly said”no room to swing a cat”
We left it all in the car and brought in a change daily.
The bathroom was an oversized closet with a sliding door that frequently slid off its track. Pretty grotty. But clean
Water pressure for shower very weak.
Finally I developed a series of bites the day we left there so I would recommend you bring your own toiletries and soap.
The good:
Clean and good location.

There’s a large choice of B and Bs and $140 Euros per night was the highest we paid.
( the night before we stayed at the lovely 4 star Old Grounds Hotel for the same price)

We stayed at this place when we went to Ireland for a week in March and it was really charming. This was by far the cutest little room we stayed in through our travels, and also the cleanest. We opted for the room with the extra area with the couch (one of the garden views) just because the rooms do run small and with our bags we wanted a little more space. All the staff there were very lovely and helpful, and I realized we probably kept the night attendant up late the day of our arrival because we showed up later than expected and I missed her text letting us know we could check in early if we wanted to. I feel like that speaks for itself how helpful they were and the rest of the stay was great, we had the full irish breakfast which was great, and there are plenty of pubs and great seaside restaurants within walking distance. We've already discussed that if we go back to Ireland, we'd love to spend more time in Dingle and I would try to book here again.

I would really recommend the Waterfront B & B for a variety of reasons. Firstly, Karen is an excellent host, she is very friendly and from the minute we got there she was pleasant and made us feel right at home. She even sent a text to say we could check in early. The shower in the bedroom was excellent the room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was really tasty and full of variety.
Also, the property is in a fantastic location, central to shops, pubs and restaurants.
I will definitely stay here when I visit Dingle again.

We stayed in the small double for a week and were very happy with it. The room is small but caused us no issues and we made use of the ground floor lounge to relax in the evenings. Ann was a fantastic host, made the best breakfasts and gave us great recommendations for both walks and where to eat, she is an asset to the Waterfront, thank you.

5 star stay!
Karen made our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. She was an excellent host and her warm nature made us feel super comfortable.
Rooms were great- clean, beds comfortable and bright. Lovely view across the harbour.
Location is excellent. I would return and would struggle to book anywhere else after such an enjoyable stay.

I'm not the biggest Bed & Breakfast fan, so consider the source, but I had mixed feelings about this stay. A lot of places are closed in Dingle in February and a "regular" hotel wasn't really an option, so we picked what looked like a bigger B&B. It was in a fabulous location. We had a view of the water and it is at the end of the retail/dining street, so the location was perfect. The room was clean and the bathroom, although small, was updated and clean. The person checking us in was very nice and gave us great pointers for touring the "Slea Head Loop", which was one of our favorite activities in Ireland. My "cons" would be the size of the room (which was very small, but serviceable), the very small bed, and the thinness of the walls. I could hear the other guests' conversations and felt like I had to tiptoe and whisper. This is not the place for a light sleeper. Given we were only there one night and Dingle was a definite highlight of our trip, it worked out fine. For a B&B it was very nice, but I wouldn't recommend it for a long term stay.
