We had a magic weekend at Mount Falcon, celebrating the wedding of our godson and his American bride over a November weekend. The food, service and warmth of the welcome were so good they made us proud to be Irish. We stayed in the cottages complex on the beautifully-maintained estate. The accommodation is high quality - warm, exquisitely finished and...

My husband and i stayed here for several nights while we played golf nearby. Even though it is an imposing estate, the scale of the hotel is warm and cozy. The lobby had a fire going all the time we were there. We had a standard room with a king bed which worked well for us. We took most of...

Arrived on a Saturday morning and they had over room ready at 11.30am. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious . The bathroom had a shower and a bath and was huge. While there, we used the pool which was a good size, nice jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The room was pretty large with a massive bed to boot. We ate at the...

stayed in a s/c lakeside unit - very well equipped and spacious, clean. A few small teething problems with the heating and TV but all resolved. Travelled as a family with two young boys who had a blast.

Myself and my husband stayed at Mount Falcon for two nights last weekend and were very disappointed. , particularly with the food. On Friday night we decided to just have bar food which was served in a large impersonal room which was full of small children running wild so we decided to eat in the restaurant. There was no a...

Just returned from a 4 night stay and the food was very disappointing, the menu in the bar was very limited and basic-same fish dish on four days and night, 'mount Falcon hot dog '- was another choice , along with beef pie , steak and lamb shank. That was the choice for the day and evening bar menu with...

We have returned to this hotel many times and were not disappointed yet again. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The food in the Kitchen restaurant is wonderful both for breakfast and dinner. The grounds are perfect for walking and the woodlands are spectacular at this time of year. If you...

Had been wanting to visit this place for 10 years and finally realised the dream. Was not disappointed !! Beautiful grounds, great friendly staff, fantastic food and the general area had a really relaxed atmosphere. Scenery was breath taking. Value for money was good as the pound was strong at the time but would have glady paid what ever was...
