We booked this hotel for two nights over the weekend for a funeral, as there was no other rooms available in the area. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, we received a mediocre welcome in a stale smelling reception area. the smell is all over the hotel. The room was dated, dirty and freezing. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere...

Large hotel a bit out of town. Lacks atmosphere, rooms good size, bathrooms outdated, no exhaust fan shower over bath. Rooms were clean but had a bit of a stale smell to them. Breakfast buffet very basic, but cooked breakfast selection good. Staff did there job, but not overly welcoming. A smile costs nothing and goes a million miles!!!

I stayed here last weekend with my sister. We were going to an event locally. It was superb. A friendly, lovely welcome and taxi organised in minutes to where we were going. Room was perfect with everything we needed. Breakfast is freshly cooked and to order the following morning which scarcely a few hotels do nowadays. Delicious. Such a lovely...

Stayed as family. This was our fourth stay at this hotel. It's always a fantastic start to our holiday. Food was lovely as usual. As were our hosts John and Nicola. Their staff were great too. Nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend this lovely family run hotel to anyone. Will be back again next year!!
