Stayed here for two nights and it was amazing. The stories behind it and we were treated like we were family. Really lovely place to stay. I'll definitely be going back again. The food was lovely and the woods surrounding it are so tranquil. It's definitely a place for a romantic break and definitely worth the price.

This castle was surprisingly hard to find advertised considering it's exceptional overall service. My fiance and I were looking for the perfect, unique wedding venue and we stumbled across this hidden gem. The quality and customer service of this place is unequal. The staff was professional, friendly, and above all, worthy of a 4* rating. Especially Kate (trainee) whose level...

I am almost sure the place is nice, and we planned to see it on our journey. Advertised everywhere, it is not as easy to find in the woods. Roads are quite poor, with basically one lane. We drove up to the gate to see an A4 paper saying they were closed next to the same paper announcing late winter...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Belleek Castle....... an iconic Irish Country House, restaurant (AA 2 Rosettes), hotel and spectacular wedding venue…Belleek is unpretentious, cosy and friendly, rich in decor and antiquities, with open log fires to warm your steps back through this cultural adventure.Enjoy a contemporary dinner, with generous portions, in our unique light panelled dining room. We have developed a new food philosophy. Our spirit is to search for more “Depth of Flavour”, exercising both classic and imaginative cooking techniques. We use seasonal ingredients and produce, selected from the land, sea and air of Mayo, and combine these with the traditions of the Castle. However, our signature dish is a Castle classic, the "Drunken Bullock", a filet steak flambéed at the table and served flaming from a sword, adding theatre to succulent steak. Hand made oak tables, eclectic romantic music, lit by candlelight, with charming attention and delicious food.“One of the most atmospheric and delightful dining experiences in Ireland”, Bill Gooch, Virginia Beach.Guests may enjoy a private viewing of the Castle museum by appointment. Belleek Castle hosts The Marshall Doran Collection, the finest collection of mediaeval armour and Jurassic fossils in Ireland. How many times have I heard? “Oh my God!” or “Oh Gosh!”Belleek Castle...
