Very Nice B&B. Clean rooms, Friendly hosts. Near Mallow town and price was very good. Just stayed one night when travelling from Cork to Limerick. Would return again. Pubs and restaurants reasonably close by. Parking right outside house too. We skipped breakfast but it smelt good.

We stayed here for two nights in early June. This was our second stay here and still can't fault the place. Ann and Maurice are excellent hosts, very warm and welcoming. They had no problems with our dogs, who thoroughly enjoyed running round their green areas and down the the River Blackwater for a swim, which is just behind the...

Everything was excellent! Breakfast was delicious. Ann and Maurice are excellent hosts. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Lovely view of the river while we ate breakfast. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone. It is in walking distance to the downtown/pub area.

One of the cleanest B&B I have ever seen. Mrs. Ann and her husband made us feel at home here and her breakfast in the morning was so lovely I will definitely go back next year. Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

Everything was really good. We went there to visit Mallow and our stay in this B&B was great! The hospitality definitely above standards and the services awesome. I'd advice this B&B to you even for the breakfast: I had some amazing pancakes and my parents had scramble eggs with salmon. WOW

Landed on Pat and Maurice's doorstep in the middle of a storm- never so happy to find a room! Wonderfully welcoming hosts and reasonably priced (70 Euros). Maurice was FULL of information about local history and lore. Excellent breakfast, too. The lodge is easy walking distance to town and the castle (worth a visit to see it and Queen Elizabeth...

Rivervale Lodge is a wonderful place to stay!! The rooms are lovely and well appointed and the Lounge /Breakfast area is homey and comfortable with a scenic view of the Blackwater River below. There is a river path nearby for walking or running. The walk into town is a short one - on the way there are 2 Castles to explore...

From the minute we arrived I new this was the place for us. Immaculate is the first word that comes to mind, professional & courteous describes the host Anne. A home away from home in a superb location away from the bustle of Cork City but near enough to base yourself for Blarney Castle & area attractions. A must stay.

There was some road construction that we had to go around but was fairly easy to find. Anne and her husband were very pleasant and welcoming. The B&B is right on the river and due to the amount of rain this summer was flowing quickly. She was helpful with recommending a place for dinner and it is only a short...
