We had lunch here on the recommendation of a gentleman that we met while wondering through this cute little town. The food was very good and the service was impeccable! Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed it some more!

So difficult to get a decent bowl of chowder... stopped off for lunch and had a wonderful chowder! Little boozy, little creamy and full of lovely fish! Dill can be over powering but there was just enough! Brown bread was good too, treacley! Had some...More
I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff at the Whitehouse was this last weekend in spite of dealing with the first hurricane since 1961. Margaret and Olivia were especially helpful. Lisa's smile at breakfast and even Michael T helped to make our stay...More
Quaint little place, but the rooms face the street, a very busy street. The noise is very loud if the pubs are full. The rooms aren't too bad, however, no air conditioning and the window is very small that opens. We didn't have the option...More

Sorry it too me so long to respond, but we've been traveling. We found NO laundromats ANYWHERE in Ireland. We didn't do laundry in Kinsale. In Killarney, we found a place in the mall that would do your laundry for about 15 euros a load. Figure a load is a medium-sized basket (about 2 feet square) or a bag. We found that our hotel had comparable pricing, so we let them do a load each day for two days. 30 euros total. We didn't travel to Northern Ireland, so I can't speak to that. I would hope you could find a laundry service in Kinsale. Kinsale is quite a tourist destination, so it might be more expensive. Hope this helps you. I don't remember if the White House offered laundry services.
