Yes we would definitely recommend to stay here when in Kinsale. Why? It has good location, has wifi, little things like chocolates on bed; ironing board and iron in the room also. It may be plain looking but it has all the necessary stuff you need for a comfortable stay. Cons: Should be here in mid week – less crowded...

3rd or 4th time staying here. Always a great welcome especially for the dog. Hard enough to find places that welcome the hound any more which is why we keep going back. As a "b&b" it out does a lot of hotels we stay at. Breakfast and service always great! Keep it up Maureen and the team!

reasonably priced, quiet, includes off street parking and a great breakfast- what's not to love! Enjoyed our stay here- was given a gigantic room- and loved the location just a few blocks from the main strip. Furnishings were a little tired, but enjoyed our stay there.

Arrived as walk-ins and were warmly welcomed and invited to check out the room before deciding whether to stay. It was gigantic -- three beds and a huge bathroom. Sipped complimentary sherry as we registered. Loved the view from our window. Excellent breakfast with everything you could want on offer.

We had a very large room with three beds. We had our window open every night. It was very peaceful. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was very appetizing. If I ever go back to Kinsale, I would definitely considering staying here again. Internet signal was weak in our room, so we usually accessed it while in the...

Here on a Rick Steves tour, doing our best to pack light. We did laundry last night, hung it in our shower to dry, only to find it just as wet this morning. I asked reception where a laundry in town was so we could dry our clothing. She took our cloths, put them in the B&B dryer, sending them...

Stayed here 2 nights on a country-wide trip. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. It was a walk to get to, though, as large buses can't access the street and the hotel is up a hill.

We really enjoyed stayung at the Friar's Lodge in Kinsale for the comfortable ambiance, great location and homey feel. Both clean and sizeable, our room was more than suitable for our basic needs while traveling around Ireland. The best part is that it's only a hop, skip and a jump away from the best pubs and restaurants the city has...

I'm baffled why this place got such good reviews. I will say the staff was fantastic - helpful and kind, but the room was filthy. I sat down and rested my arm on the desk and got actual goo on my hand - ick. There was goo on the night stand, too. At first I thought maybe they had missed...
