This is an excellent hotel situated in the heart of Carrick-on-Shannon. The reception staff were courteous and helpful but the crowning glory was Emma in the bar/dining Lounge. Even though we were a bit late for normal meal times she checked with the kitchen and returned to us with a smile to say "OK, no problem". Not alone that but...

I arranged the Bush Hotel as accommodation for my brothers Stag, a group of 13 lads. Right from making the booking the hotel staff were extremely helpful and professional. We also booked a meal which was served in a private dining room off the main Lounge. The food was fantastic and all the lads were delighted with the meal. The...

Lovely hospitality, staff were very helpful, thoughtful and considerate. We all got a good nights sleep despite the shenanigans going on in the rest of the town. Town itself can get very noisy at night because of the number of hens and stags.

Stayed for new year eve. Very friendly staff and a comfortable room. We had dinner in the restaurant it was well presented and plentiful. Again the staff were friendly and helpful. At breakfast we were late but the staff made us welcome and continued to serve. A great hotel. Will stay again.

Have stayed in the Bush on a number of occasions and always find it good. Nice and quiet rooms, friendly staff, good food and a convenient location on main street in Carrick with many shops and restaurants nearby. Added to that, Carrick itself is a nice place to stay, on the Shannon and a gateway to the west of Ireland....

This was a very nice hotel with a great location and great charm. I loved looking at all the period photos on the walls, and the sitting rooms with fireplaces. Even though it had a great downtown location there was an entry in the back with easy parking, so the best of both! The staff was so friendly as well....

This hotel is lovely. Firstly it was very easy to find for us who don't live in Ireland - very well sign posted from the main road. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms huge and quiet and breakfast was great. The bistro food was fine - nothing fancy - but that's a good thing - with comfy seating and...
