We arrived in Shannon, picked up our car and headed for Limerick City. I have an AT&T version 3G Ipad and wanted to pick up a new card so that I may use it while in Ireland. Bought my card, bought the cheapest service (would...More
We had heard wonderful things about Adare Manor and looked forward to our 2 night stay. Our family of 4 arrived a few hours early and while we hoped they might be able to accommodate us, we understood if they couldn't. We had taken the...More

My daughter and I stayed at Adare Manor for two nights in July. The original plan was to stay only one night, but we rearranged a few things so we could stay for two. And was it ever worth it! We were awed by the...More

We bought instant coffee, which I'm generally not a fan of, which was actually pretty good. My husband drinks his black and liked it. I bought Creamer at the small grocery in town and it was delicious. Yes to hair dryers in each room. We had a 3 bedroom villa. My suggestion would be to take extension cords if you take any US electronics. There are US outlets in the rooms but not conveniently located. The extension cords worked very well, as we could charge several phones as well as use a flat iron. There is laundry available, I took detergent pods. Adare is a beautiful village, very quaint. We truly enjoyed the evenings in the pubs. Definitely visit Sean Collins and Sons Pub. The evening with live music was a real treat.

Thank you for your enquiry. There is a small supply of dishwasher and laundry tabs in each of the villas - enough for one or two washes to get your started. There is no food or beverages supplied with the houses so we would recommend that you go to the local grocery store in Adare once you arrive to purchase your provisions for the duration of your stay. There are two good supermarkets in the village which stay open until quite late; Londis and Centra - you will be able to get everything that you need in either of them.
