A group of us stayed in this fine hotel. No welcome, just a terse demand for credit card, even though we had prepaid by card. When our last room arrived, the same demand, we refused and a manager had to be summoned. Upon arrival, we discovered the bar was off limits, due to a wedding so we had to go... More

Just back from my second visit to this hotel and I love it. There is something very warm and friendly about this hotel and in some ways it's greater than the sum of it's parts. The rooms are spacious and have character. The beds are super comfy. We had dinner on one night we arrived and it was excellent. The... More

Always wanted to stay in this hotel and had the opportunity to book a 2 nite (Sunday / Monday) weekday break recently. Why did I want to stay here, very simple, how many times have I crawled through Adare in nightmare traffic on the way to our from Kerry and wished I could just pull up and stay in what... More

Well worth a visit to Fiona in the spa at this hotel. This was my third time with her and was up to it's usual high standard. I had a hot oil Swedish massage. It was excellent, I had the best night's sleep after it. I would highly recommend her. And then you can relax in the lovely hotel with open... More

Staying at the Dunraven Arms Hotel was an unforgettable experience. The staff (especially Dennis!!) was more than accommodating to us and made us feel at home. We were there for a wedding and everyone was extremely warm and accommodating to each request we made (and there were many). Not once did they make us feel like we were imposing or... More

We return to the Dunraven Arms on a bi-monthly basis as it simply the best value hotel in Ireland. It suits us to stay midweek when the best deals are available. The staff continue to provide a very friendly welcome and this friendliness continues until checkout time.Highly recommended.

I have stayed here before and as usual it is a dupe place to stay. But my room was a bit on the small side. The dinner at the dance was super with beautiful beef cooked exactly how I like it Breakfast this morning was excellent with great coffee I take one star off because of my room

It is a lovely hotel, but I got a very tiny room, and the staff were lovely except for one man when I said my room was tiny, he made me feel bad, and even though a lovely young woman did upgrade me, it ruined my visit!

The staff, greeting and checkout were friendly. The afternoon tea was fine. The room was fine. The dinner was OK although the service was a bit disjointed. The room was clean. We don't want to be snooty, but if we are on an Irish vacation, we may be looking for something a bit more special. It was OK.

We stayed at the Dunraven on the first night of our European Honeymoon trip, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The hotel was beautiful, the hotel staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, and the town itself was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed a lovely evening out in Adare, based off of the recommendations of the hotel staff.... More
