This accommodation offers everything you might expect for a proper stay, like a good fitted clean room and a nice breakfast. What makes it special is the warm welcome you receive from owner Mary. Together with her family/staff she takes great care your stay will become unforgettable. She goes out of her way to address her customers needs, be it...

Arriving for my 4th stay at the Connemara Country Lodge, host Mary again offered her enthusiastic Irish welcome! As always, my room was comfortable and very clean, with drapes easy to close and open, ample towels, and plenty of hot water. The Lodge is an easy 5 minute walk into the shopping area of Clifden, where all manner of shops...

Mary and her daughter Stephanie were wonderful hosts. We had a spacious and comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Stephanie recommended a great spot for dinner within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious and was accompanied by a great Irish performance on violin, tin whistle and voice by Mary. Wonderful hospitality. Hope to be back again!

Most enjoyable B and B experience. Mary played the violin and whistle and sang the Fields of Athenry. Mary is a very hard worker and very driven but she has lots of time to give to her clients. Easily recommended. The area of Connemara is Gods country. Really worth visiting and spending some time there.

Very beautiful house with charming and quiet bedrooms. Everything perfectly clean. The atmosphere and the hospitality are impeccable. Mary is sweet, delightful and her music and singing give to the stay an uncomparable class touch. Breakfast very well prepared and appetizing. This is definitely worth a visit. When leaving, you will bring with you a wonderful souvenir of this place!

Wow! If you want to feel completely welcome and enjoy your visit, this is the place to stay. My two teenagers (16 & 18) and I stayed here for two nights this week, and fell in LOVE with it! Mary is a wonderful hostess and goes out of her way to make you feel at home - even by picking...

Grand location a couple of minutes walk from the town centre, loads of hot water, a good hair dryer provided and breakfast was tasty. However, the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows practically flat and the walls were extremely thin. We also had a toilet with a lousy flush. The price was steep for the quality of the accommodation - it...

Myself and my friend had a twin room booked here. When I arrived, I was met by the grandfather of the house, as his daughter was coming back from town. 92yrs of age he said, and he did not look a day over 72yrs, must be the water and the air.....Lovely chat with him, and was then shown the room...

Mary made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely stay at here beautiful house. Mary gave us some good suggestions about where to eat (Maconi's) and drink (Loury's bar). We had a very musical breakfast, to bad we only stayed one night, next time we will definitely try the homemade pancakes for breakfast.

We loved staying with singing Mary. You get much more than just a B and B. She knows where to send you if you don't have any plans, an you get to listen to great songs alongside your great breakfast. So much better than a soulless hotel! Thoroughly recommended.

Thank A J
