Neat, efficient and great value for money . Ideal place to stop off while on cycling trip. Room clean with ensuite. Sufficient breakfast for the road ahead. Within walking distance to town centre and good pubs.

We stayed for one night there. The rooms are not great, badly soundproofed and the wireless not accessible. However, the price quality ratio is good and 5 minutes only from the "city" center. The host was friendly and gave really good indications about the places to visit, the bar or restaurants to go. If you stop only for one night...

It's not quaint. It's not intimate or nicely decorated but it was clean, reasonably priced and close to the town center. The breakfast area could do without the sign that says: "You talk so much shXX I don't know whether to offer you a breath mint or toilet paper". I'm not sure if that is directed toward the guests or...

A welcome sight after a very rainy arrival in Clifden. Room was ensuite, comfortable / warm / quiet / clean. Fortunately the sun came out and I was able to explore beautiful Connemara having this property as a well situated base, with parking in front of the property. Attila was friendly and helpful with many suggestions of things to do...

There is always a problem finding 2 rooms (double and twin) in the same place at short notice, Ashtons was the only option in Clifden for the night needed. Positives the rooms are clean, comfortable and they only charged twin rates for 2 folk in a family room. Parking outside in front of the house. It's also handy for town and...

Stayed here 19th. 3 persons 1 room €60 per head. Expensive for a B&B. Busy weekend so possibly paying more than usual. The room was clean. Beds looked shabby. Easy to locate as on the way into town. Parking outside the door. 5 mins walk into town ctr. Breakfast a fiver per head extra. Value for money. Staff were friendly....

I stayed here for two nights recently and enjoyed it. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean with everything you need. There's a shared lounge area on the ground floor and a bright breakfast room, where Thomas and his team serve a selection of continental and cooked breakfast. I just went for the simple continental option having been enjoying the...

No heat - owner wouldn't address although all guests complained. Advertise WIFI but very weak connection (the store a half a block away had stronger connection). Stayed at a very good B & B, the Dun Ri, for the same price (and they didn't charge extra for breakfast).

The townhouse is pretty central and a short walk to restaurants, shops, etc. The apartment style/studio room was spacious for 3, clean and it had lots of windows. The bathroom is very large as is the shower. That's about all that was good. It can only be used as a place to sleep, shower and watch tv. None of the...
