We were part of a large group of about 35 club photographers. Great welcome from Anne-Marie, the manager. Tea/coffee & muffins for all arriving in 2s/3s from 4 to 7 pm. Excellent food in the restaurant could not be faulted. All staff very courteous, friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was buffet style with excellent...

Stayed here for 3 nights during a trip to Connemara. Very pleasant staff and very comfortable accommodation. Did not eat here apart from breakfast as we wanted to sample food at the many bars in Clifden. The breakfast was, however, superb, and again served up by very pleasant staff. Will look to stay there again later this year.

Great service from start to finish. Staff welcome on arrival was sincere and friendly. Room was spacious and very well cleaned/maintained. Very clean and well- appointed en-suite with a very good shower. Nice touch with the ironing board in the closet for removing travel-wrinkles. The view from the window overlooked the station, but for me that was no problem whatsoever....

I stayed at this hotel last weekend as part of a large group. We received a very warm welcome from Anne Marie the Manager, and this set the scene for all our dealings with the staff for the weekend. They were friendly, cheerful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was indeed service with a smile! Well done...

We received a cead mile failte from Anne Marie and her team. They went that extra mile to attend to our every need. I can't wait to come back and explore Connemara a bit more from Clifden Station House.

As someone else said a bit of mixed feelings about the hotel itself. Rooms are fine, nice bar, restaurant. The staff make it, they are very friendly, helpful and good fun. The location in the town is good but also its location means that all the beautiful sights of Connemara are really close by. A great place to locate yourself...

We were a family of four with three-year-old twins coming off a stay in a remote cottage up in Donegal that was a bit too rustic for the young ones. Needless to say, Clifden Station House was a welcomed relief with its hot showers, ample bedding, and awesome food options. We didn't eat in the rail station, but would definitely...

We had a lovely stay here recently. The staff are all really nice and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean with a t.v and tea and coffee facilities. There was a lovely leisure centre with a big pool. Not even a minutes walk from the front door is a restaurant and bar with great food and atmosphere. The...

I am torn with this hotel as I would definitely stay again on balance, but it needs some improvement. The service is second to none, they really cannot do enough for you. Patrick in the restaurant in particular was very attentive. The food is also really lovely! Especially the breakfast, i have never seen such a big selection of food...
