The Quay House in Clifden, Ireland is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast! We stayed there July 3, 4 and 5. Paddy and Julia Foyle are wonderful hosts! This is the most beautiful, comfortable, immaculately clean and welcoming B & B! Their family makes you feel as if you are part of the family as welll! Every room is different and...

If you are staying in Clifden you must stay here. Julia & Paddy are the most wonderful hosts. Breakfast was lovely with stewed fruits for starters then followed by a selection of freshly cooked dishes like salmon & scrambled eggs or an Irish breakfast. The house feels homely and you instantly relax as you walk through the door. This a...

Frances and I stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. The couple who run the house were truely lovely and made us both feel totally at home. The breakfast was superb (fresh Mackerel on morning) and the conservatory where it is served is a great place to start the day.

I have high expectations when I travel, and the Foyle's Quay House exceeded those. My mother and I were traveling after the loss of my father, and I felt like we were visiting a beautiful relative's home for a few days. One night when my mother didn't feel like going out to dinner, Julia made a beautiful salad with cheese...

My wife and I stayed here as part of a bicycle tour in West of Ireland. Paddy and Julia welcomed us as we arrived on our bikes and gave us great recommendations on where to eat in Clifden. The Quay House is right on the harbor and a short 5 minute walk to town. The room was large and full...

Room was like a self contained apartment with great views in beautiful surroundings, the hotel was like a home away from home, great friendly owners and pleasant staff, the breakfast was fit for a king with great variety.
