The breakfast was excellent Frederique and Charles were excellent hosts with knowledge of the surrounding area. It's a little out from Clifden about 5 minutes by car we stayed in a room overlooking the bay it was quite beautiful and quiet.

Frederique was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. She gave us some great tips of where to eat and drive to the next day. Our room on ground floor at front of the house had beautiful views when other guests were not parked in front of our window (which impeded our privacy somewhat) There was no TV which,...

Location is very good, amazing scenery however the overall standard of the rooms and breakfast is not worth €80 a night in comparison to other B and B. Rooms should be improved by adding towel hangers, hooks, small wardrobe... Sound proofing wasn't good and should be improved too. Rooms with a view on the garage should be cheaper than those...

We stayed just one night at Clifden Bay Lodge, but we felt welcome since the first moment. Costance and Charles were really nice, helping us with all the information we needed. Breakfast is yummy and room is very confortable. If you get a chance, please choose a room with sea view. It's amazing!

This b&b was higly overrated and overpriced. The location is great and the view is fabulous. But the bedrooms are small, very humid and the bathroom is tiny. In addition, only some of the rooms have a view while other rooms have a view on the garage (very expensive for such a view!!). The quality of the service and equipment...

The rooms and the hosts are nice, everything is clean and tidy. But it’s the location that convinced us the most. Hooked on the side of the hill, just a bit after the separation between the lower and the upper Sky drives, it gives you a full view of the long bay. You can go visit other regions during the...

We had two wonderful days at this B&B in Clifden! The place where the house is located is a perfect dream!! Ocean view out of the room and absolutely quiet! It was excactly that, what we was looking for! Unfortunately we had to leave after 2 nights, because we were traveling through Ireland. Breakfast was great and the owners are...

Positive: - Great location, ocean view from bedroom and dining room. - Friendly owner. We received great daily tour tips. - Good breakfast. Negative: - Owner had a dog and a cat in the lobby. Overall: it is great location if you want to explore Connemara.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this nice house. Lovely walks along the coast and unspoilt quiet beaches. We had the French dinner which was delicious. Hosts were friendly. We really hope to return.
