The Sea Mist is our favourite place to stay in Connemara. My husband and I have stayed here many times. iMy aunt wanted to visit Inishbofin an island off the Galway coast. Clifden is a super town buzzing with restaurants and music and lots of local craft shops. Good coffee at Steam in the old station area. The ferry to...

Clifden is a charming town, and a perfect location from which to explore the Connemara. The Sea Mist House offers a charming and well situated spot in Clifden, close enough to walk to all the restaurants and shops. The home itself is beautiful, and Sheila is a warm host. She has furnished the rooms with comfort in mind. Everything is...

My husband and I stayed at Sheila's lovely b n b during our Ireland bike tour. We felt like we were staying with family. They were so welcoming but not at all intrusive. They had a new puppy which we fell in love with! The b n b is right at the start of the sky road which was very...

3 of us stayed here, whilst down to do the tour of Connemara cycle. The accommodation was great, ideal location for the town. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and the breakfasts were great, excellent choice and freshly cooked when you came to the breakfast room. The rooms were great, modern and clean. All in all this is a great place...

We were told Clifden was a great place to visit and found it a little too 'tourist destination' for our liking but Shiela's gorgeous home and hospitality were an experience on their own. Deservedly voted the best b'nb in the area. Comfortable - even luxurious - with beautiful furnishing and gardens. Great breakfast. Helpful advice. Ynobtrusive attention.

The first guest house we stopped at was full but they kindly called the Sea Mist House which had two rooms left. What a lovely find. We were made very welcome by Sheila and her husband and when our friend travelling with us had a 'funny turn' and felt unwell they were so accommodating in giving her a more suitable...

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in your house. Our room was large, sunny and had a sea view. It was an amazing, cozy and silent place. You have offered a special and great breakfast and made us very happy.
