On Hillcrests website, it says that the B&B is recommended by Lonely planet and Frommer (who is this???), and thats why we choose this B&B over the 100 of others in the area. But We were sadly disapointed. The rooms were plain and cold, the tv was quit small and the remote didnt work if you sad more than 1m away. The bed was placed 2m away, so..............
It looked old and outdated and the landlady wasnt that friendly.
Breakfast was ok, but The landlady was more interested in playing with her grandchild than in her guests.

Wir waren bereits mehrfach im Hillcrest House von Familie Mc Sweeney und haben es immer sehr ordentlich und gut vorgefunden.
Die persönliche Begrüßung der Gäste ist sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich auch gleich sehr wohl in dem gut ausgestattetem Haus am Rande des Ring of Kerry's.
Wenn man mal Probleme mit der Einrichtung oder den technischen Anlagen hat wird sofort geholfen und Abhilfe geleistet, so dass man sich hier richtig wohlfühlen muss.
Die Betten und das gesamte Inventar ist liebevoll zusammengestellt und in einem guten Zustand - einzig fehlt im Eingangsbereich einige Haken für evtl. feuchte Jacken aufzuhängen - aber dies haben wir auch in diesem Jahr wieder Frau Mc Sweeney mitgeteilt. Der Standort der Ferienhäuser ist für Ausflüge über den Ring of Kerry ideal und auch weitere Unternehmungen kann man von hier aus wunderbar starten. Besonders gut ist die Ausstattung der Küche mit deutscher Kaffeemaschine, Microwelle, Gasherd, Backofen, Wasserkocher, Toaster und Kühl- und Gefrierkombination - weiterhin eine Waschmaschine sowei ein Wäschetrockner.
Wir fühlen uns bei Familie Mc Sweeney immer sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben.
