Mary greeted us with fresh scones and tea, took our children to see the cows milked, and chatted with my father. She shared that she "loved the sound of children in her house" and that owning a B&B had always been her dream. Staying at her home was a delight and very comforting. The view is absolutely spectacular, too!

You'll only find Dromin farmhouse if you are prepared to go off the main road, but then you will find a warm welcome. The accommodation is comfortable with a large living room with a beautiful view of the mountainds and an open fire on cold evenings. The bedrooms are fine and Marey Foley is a wonderful hostess.

My wife and I really loved this B & B. Mary was extremely nice and very accomodating to my pregnant wife. She offered us tea upon arrival. The room had everything you needed to provide all of the comforts. The views from their location are stunning. The B & B is a working farmhouse, which really added to the charm....

Irish hospitality at its best. Welcomed and felt at home from the moment we arrived. Scones and tea on arrival on a cosy couch in front of a warm fire. A lounge room with tea and coffee facilities for guest use added to the feeling of homeliness and a chance to meet other guests. Our room was clean, comfortable and...

Our second visit to Dromin Farmhouse was just as wonderful as the first! Last year we stayed for a couple of nights; this year, for five. We just love it. We've visited many B&Bs, but this is absolutely the best. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. The food, selected from a diverse menu, is excellent--and you don't have to...

Stayed for one night prior to doing climbing Carantoohill. Had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The house itself is situated in a very tranquil setting. Handy for Killorglin but just a little too far for walking. Breakfast was good. Mary was a brilliant host. I would definitley recommend it.

Mary Foley operates this B&B and knows how to make you feel very comfortable. Upon arrival there is the offer of coffee or tea and an invitation to sit in the comfortable parlor room. Take your own wine or mix up a cocktail- Mary is more than willing to supply the ice which, is quite important to us Americans. If...

“There is one lovely double room at the front with amazing views of the Mountains! (As has the Dining and Sitting Room) A spacious Family Room to the side and two more private quieter Rooms (both Double) to the rear of the Property overlooking farmland. All rooms well presented with all facilities! If you need something extra Mary always does her very best to accommodate!”

“All the rooms are meticulously prepared and well stocked, ours had tea fixings, electric kettle. Our bedroom had minimal view, but very comfortable, lots of storage; nice shower too. The sitting room is big, with plush chairs, a table with dining chairs, and an unmatched view.”
