We arrived into glenbeigh about 6pm and decided to try and find a B&B. We rocked up to Maureen's place and just rang the bell looking for a room (old school - it still happens!) we we're welcomed in and shown to our room - very nice - and then given some tips about where to eat. It was however the next morning when the wonderful Maureen really came into her own. She presented us with a breakfast which is definitely in the top 10 of Irish breakfasts! A long chat later and we started off to our next destination. It was a short but very nice stay. We will definitely return and I look forward to that breakfast again!
Thanks for everything Maureen.

My girlfriend & I stayed here for 1 night during our walk on the Kerry Way. We arrived at Liosderrig House tired and sunburnt after walking for several hours. Maureen greeted us immediately and, since we arrived early, had us relax in the sitting room for a few minutes while she finished readying our room. The room was comfortable, good sized, bright, and had everything we needed. When Maureen found out about our sunburns she was nice enough to bring a bottle of skin lotion for us to use. For breakfast the following morning, she went above and beyond by making some wonderful "special order" pancakes complete with delicious fresh fruit. The full Irish breakfast was also delicious. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with Liosderrig house. Maureen was wonderful. I would recommend Liosderrig House to everyone, and we hope to stay there again in the future. Cheers Maureen!

We stayed here for 4 nights from 13th - 17th April. We had the most wonderful stay and Maureen was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived she was so welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a room that had a wonderful view and had a double and single bed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was fabulous after a day of sightseeing. Liosderrig House is a beautiful large house, and is very warm and welcoming. There is a guest lounge with books, DVD's if you want to relax. Breakfast was beautiful with fresh fruit, yoghurts, choice of cereals and bread. The cooked option was gorgeous and always beautifully cooked. Local produce made it so tasty and was always plentiful.

The best part of Liosderrig House is Maureen. She really is a lovely lady. My daughter needed medication keeping cool so Maureen was more than happy to keep it in her fridge and every morning, promptly bought it out after breakfast. She also helped us surprise my sister with a birthday cake and brought it out lit with candles for us. The next morning she even surprised my sister with the most thoughtful gift. She is such a gem. She was quick to recommend places to see & visit as well as giving us directions. She always asked us the next morning where we had been and showed a real interest in our trip.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone. Warm, welcoming, homely, comfortable. What more could you want? Thank you Maureen for making our trip so memorable. We can't wait to come & stay again xx

Maureen was a wonderful host. The B&B is located within a short walk to pub/restaurant. Drove around the area, very green and colorful. The rooms were clean and welcoming. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious. Had a lovely stay.

Maureen is a great host in her beautiful and cozy B&B. Delicious breakfast and super location. Even though I arrived a couple of hours earlier than expected after a rainy hike, she settled me right down with tea and cookies before the fire and I was in heaven!

While walking my second leg of the Kerry Way in early march (from Black Valley to Glenbeigh), I suffered a long twenty mile day in freezing rain that later turned into two inches of snow that left me soaked and freezing from head-to-toe. Needless to say, my plan to sleep in a tent that night was looking quite grim. That's when Maureen opened up her home to me and gave me incredible service above and beyond what I needed. After giving me a room, she took all my gear and packed it into her "drying room" insisting it would dry by morning. Then she sent me over to the Tower Bar for a delicious dinner. By morning, as promised, all my stuff including my boots was impossibly dry. After filling me up with a delicious breakfast and some hot Irish tea she sent me on my way, insisting that I let her know when I arrived Cahersiveen safely. Ignore any negative words in these words -- St. Maureen (as I now call her) is what Ireland's all about: kind, loving, nurturing, hard-working, and determined to make sure that everyone who stays in her home leaves happy, healthy, and ready to go.

Our rooms were spotless. Breakfasts are cooked to-order and are tasty & plentiful. Maureen is a perfect host - It's a friendly, laid-back B/B, chosen for its location opposite 2 fine Restaurants.....no need for a taxi after dinner !

Nicely located in the middle of Glenbeigh, this a wonderful B&B with nice rooms and good hearty breakfast. They were very accommodating of our early breakfast requirements. We only stayed for one night but wouldn't hesitate to return.

Hostess was friendly, generous and interesting to talk to. Clean and comfortable rooms, sitting lounge with TV and games and a good Irish breakfast, would stay again. A good base for the ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula.
