This is our second year in a row staying in Parknasilla. Fantastic holiday for families. We have a baby and a toddler and this is the perfect location to have a relaxing family holiday. We only left Parknasilla and it's grounds twice during the week we stayed there as there is so much to do to keep small children (we...

This was our second time staying here in the last three years and walking into the house I remember why : Beautiful generous sized bedrooms, good quality beds and linen. The whole house was spotlessly clean and a pleasure to walk into. Power showers and good sized bathrooms. Kitchen with all you require and comfortable living area with TV with...

Booked a 3 bedroomed villa for a week. Everything about it was superb. Warm, cosy, excellent facilities. Nice furniture and fittings, 3 fabulous bathrooms with underfloor heating. Fabulous cosy duvets and cushions. All modern facilities included. It really is a home away from home. Toilet paper, kitchen paper, washing up liquid, fabric detergents, bin bags, tea towels and oven gloves...

Just 2 nights in this resort and I fell in love with the place. The hotel has fabulous views, the courtyard is beautiful and the staff so welcoming. The courtyard is finished to a high spec and has everything you need for a wonderful stay in comfort. The hidden treasures are the woodland walks and scenic views. The best of...

We stayed in the woodland lodges for a week over the Easter break. They are finished and furnished to an excellent standard and we were very comfortable. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and efficient and made us feel totally at home. The spa is excellent and the outdoor hot tubs are an experience in our balmy...

We rented three of these houses for a family celebration. The houses are clean, bright and very well fitted out. We had lovely walks in the hotel grounds and use of the leisure centre. The one downstairs bedroom is not ensuite but the downstairs washroom is beside it. If one has mobility issues, there is one house with the downstairs...

Just back from third stay at lodges,,, 3 bed villas. Was disappointed this time, we were virtually only people stayin in villas, the place was like a morgue,, not surprising due to crazy crazy price natural retreats charging €1600,, although got them down to 1200. I would say €700 ample to pay. Unfortunately could not sit out,, open windows, play...

We spent a family weekend here in June 1012, 2 adults and 3 kids aged 5 to 10. Natural Retreats is a small collection (total 13 locations) of rental houses connected to up-market hotels in Ireland, the UK, the Canaries and the US. Visitors can either become members, or rent on an ad-hoc basis. We were ad-hoc renters, and this...

If you're looking for a relaxing family holiday self catering then this is the one! Beautiful scenery, gorgeous pool/spa, delicious food, lovely accomodation, fab beds. We booked through Natural Retreats.com a 3 bed lodge for my hubby and two sons and I for 1 week. It is a little pricey but it's luxury! It's a long drive from dublin but...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
To discover the charm of Ireland with the perfect holiday on the Ring of Kerry, Parknasilla is the place to be. The resort has a rich heritage dating back to 1692, attracting such literary luminaries as George Bernard Shaw to its beautiful location. The name Parknasilla comes from the Irish, Pairc na Saileac, meaning the 'Field of the Willow Trees'. Due to the effects of the Gulf Stream and its sheltered position, the resort boasts a pleasant climate where vegetation flourishes. ... more   less
