Never experience another campsite like it . Loved it. So depressed when i had to leave . Campsites around Ireland could learn a few things from here . I seriously can't wait to get back. Everything is at your doorstep. Cahersiveen is absolutely amazing.

Amazing location with lots of great hikes close by. Interesting sites such as valentia Islands and the renowned Skellig Islands. Very friendly Morty will look after you before and during your stay in a prompt and friendly fashion. Very clean place with friendly vibe. Their 'sitting room' is comfy, with an open fire and has a few guitars hanging from...

Hello Teresa. Thank you for your excellent review. I hope the weather was kind to you because my recollection of May is one of cold days and not suitable for gardening. I get many people for Kerry here because it is such a different environment from places such as Tarbert which has its own beauty but different. I hope you...

We loved it here, great camping facilities. There's a kitchen, dining room and lounge, all clean and well kept. Lots of space to camp. The showers cost €1 for 5 minutes. I wish we'd stayed on the water side pitches the views are amazing. Close to Portmagee for the Skellig Island tours

We stayed here for 6 days at the start of July and had a fantastic time. A great campsite with amazing facilities. We particularly enjoyed relaxing and warming up by the fire in the Campers' Sitting Room. Many thanks to Mortimer and his staff, who were very welcoming and helpful. I don't think we have ever found a more welcoming and relaxing site. A real 5* find. We have been glamping a few times as well but this was the best campsite we have been to. Not only was the setting stunning but the staff and facilities were just perfect. Mortimer, Pat, Dot and the rest of the staff ensure...

We stayed in 6 sites on a recent trip to Ireland and found Mannix point to be the best of the lot, in fact probably the best site we’ve ever stayed on in around 20 years of camping/campervanning. The secret to it? The people! The owner, Mortimer has a heart of gold and really understands what campers want, and sets...

Hello JRM. Thank you very much for taking the trouble to write such an excellent and informative review. What greater tribute can be paid in that you left feeling you were leaving friends. The feeling was indeed mutual. I am pleased that you visited two of my favourite spots in South West Kerry, Valentia Island and Kells garden. That garden...
