Fantastic weekend. Workshops started on Friday at 6pm and finished Sunday at 1 pm Live bands on Friday and Saturday night. 3 dance teachers, Tom, Norella and Padraigh teaching jive, and quick step. Hotel package excellent €99 pp b/b with one dinner. Hotel staff welcoming and friendly. Can't wait for another weekend like this. Watch out for these workshops.

Stayed with three adults and a toddler. The cottage was lovely, the furniture would need to be updated but it was extremely clean. Although the beds were very comfortable. The only issue i would have it the heating was loud and banged every few hours which would wake you from your sleep. The hotel was open and modern. The food...

Very easily accessible, this hotel is perched on a hill that overlooks Bantry bay. On arrival, you'll find plenty of spaces to park, though beware - manoeuvering in the spaces can be a bit challenging in some areas. The main hall is bright and welcoming, though I wish reception had been closer to the entrance, rather than tucked away in...

Stayed for one night, wasn't very expensive but from the standard of the room, I would've expected breakfast to be included too. The lobby and the bar were nice modern and inviting. However the room was dark and looked a if it hadnt been renovated since the early 90s. The bathroom didn't even have an extractor fan. Thankfully it was...

I stayed recently while on business in the West Lodge Hotel. The rooms and food were excellent. The staff very pleasant. Great value for money, it is also very family friendly. The hotel is well located about one mile from the town of Bantry near the Whiddy Island Ferry a must visit when in the area.

Room was very dated (we were not put in one of the refurbished rooms) and we felt a bit underwhelmed. Leisure centre was busy, which in January does not bode well for summer stays. The breakfast was buffet style and, although nice, most of it was cold and too mass produced to deliver any real quality (scrambled eggs with an...

My family stayed in the Westlodge with a group of 4 other families for New year. The hotel is situated in a beautiful scenic area a 10 minute walk from the town. We stayed in one of the larger cottages, which was a bit disappointing. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable the kitchen while a bit dated but...

My Daughter and I visited the Westlodge Hotel on a short stay in Bantry for lunch. We ate in the bar . The staff were nice and friendly. The food was delicious. We both had soup and toasted sandwiches. Everything was tasty and fresh. The hotel was busy with families. We did not stay so i can't comment on the...
