Jennie at Reenmore was the perfect host: we had a warm welcome with a pot of tea and cake. She kindly booked us a table for dinner in a local restaurant as well. The house is right on the sea- perfect for a dip with spectacular views. Our room was lovely, comfortable and large. Jennie made us a feast for breakfast- delicious fresh fruit salad, porridge and THE best scrambled eggs we have ever eaten. It was perfect. Thanks a million Jennie.

We are back from staying 2 nights in Reenmore. The place couldn't be nicer - the sea next to the house, the villages of Kilcrohane and Ahakista next door, the Sheeps Head to walk. The house is nice, the room was clean, the shower was hot and the sleeping was excellent. Every morning Jenny prepares a great breakfast and she is an amazing host. 2 nights is not enough to enjoy the fabulous place!

Fabulous location, very welcoming, lovely room, and Jennie met us with tea and homemade cake. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Close to Kilcrohane, spectacular scenery, quiet, friendly local definitely worth going off the main roads to experience part the wild Atlantic way

I stayed at Reenmore Farm House B&B in August and experienced the most tranquil surroundings and outstanding views. The B&B is located quite a distance from Bantry, but well worth the drive! I was presented with the most amazing cream tea on my arrival, by the lovely host, Jennie Barry. I had the downstairs bedroom, which was private and comfortable. The Irish breakfast was delicious, and I'm now a soda bread 'convert'. Jennie recommended numerous sights to see, which all turned out well-worth seeing - I definitely recommend the drive around the Sheep's Head Peninsula and ferry trip to Garnish Island. I had a lovely meal at Arundel's by the Pier - which is quite popular and therefore best to pre-book. I look forward to my return to Reenmore.

Going by previous reviews we thought we'd found an ideal spot. One reviewer said the farmhouse is within walking distance of 2 pubs - I don't think so! The nearest pub open in the evening for food and drink was 15 minutes drive way in Durras. Greeted with muffins and a cuppa which was very welcome. Spacious room but not very warm. In fact another couple asked for a heater for their room. Delicious breakfast as per the Irish tradition. We also had a little bother getting to the farm. Started taking the farmyard track instead of the proper one - think perhaps another sign at that point would be a good idea.

This is the kind of place you almost don't want to tell anyone about because part of what makes it so great is that it's off the beaten path. The 130 year old farmhouse was very comfortable with large bedrooms and hot showers, and a lovely sitting area downstairs for relaxing. The farm itself was just lovely, with beautiful flower gardens and amazing views. It was truly like being right on the edge of the world - completely secluded and incredibly beautiful. And yet we were within a 2 minute drive of a very good restaurant/pub, so it was perfect. The remote location was a bit out of the way but still a good base for exploring Sheep's Head as well as Bantry, Schull, and Mizen Head areas without difficulty.
Jennie and Kevin were the perfect hosts - so friendly and kind, the epitome of hospitality. We really loved talking with them and enjoyed their company. Breakfast was wonderful.
We stayed 2 nights but I could have easily spent our entire Irish vacation here. A great value for a perfect stay. A true gem.

Just the drive down to the farm would make you want to return. Spectacular view. The breakfasts were wonderful. The room was cozy and the bed so comfortable. We were there to hike so Jenny helped us find amazing places to walk with unbelievable scenery. Overall, this was a memorable experience.

The owner/host of Reenmore House, Jennie, was kind enough to come out and greet us in the parking lot. She showed us our room, then brought afternoon tea service to us in the parlor. Even made dinner reservations for us at the nearest restaurant. A wonderful host, super clean rooms, beautiful grounds, a solid bargain. Breakfast and WiFi are included. Book you stay now!

Looking for a place on Sheeps Head we found Reenmore Farmhouse. Beautifully situated in a quiet and beautiful spot, perfect for getting away from the bustle of life. A real Irish farmhouse with the kind of welcome and friendliness not found often these days. The food!! Genuine home cooked and really excellent fare. The dinners were wholesome and huge, just like the way visitors were looked after in Irish homes for generations. Jennie is lovely and keeps everything spotless. The value for money is exceptional. Just great!

We arrived at 7.30pm for the start of our three night B.B & D special deal, Jennie Barry along with husband Kevin and daughter Mary have been greeting their guests for twenty years and it is very obvious that she still enjoys sharing her home with guests who soon become her friends. Yes 7.30pm having driven for two hours from Cork airport and Jennie insisted that we settled in to our sea view room and relaxed before dinner, which was homemade soup, followed by their home reared steak with home grown vegatables and of course had to be followed by one of Jennie's home made puddings, what a start to our stay in this wonderful away from it all farmhouse. There was lots to do during our three day stay in this almost undiscovered corner of Ireland and with almost traffic free roads, getting about was a pleasure.......................
