Couldn’t speak more highly of this hotel. From the very first conversation with Kate, everything was so easily organised. Being in a wheelchair myself, our room was unbelievably spacious and with a view across the whole of Baltimore bay and Sherkin Island. It was just incredible. The quality of both the bar food and in the main restaurant where absolutely top-notch. All in all, one of the nicest most friendly hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. Keep doing what you’re doing Kate, it’s fantastic. Many thanks. Gary and Elaine Smith
This was a difficult hotel to review. The location was excellent, right on the Harbour front and arguably the best location in town. We booked their last room available which was described as small with a small double bed. The room was better than described but was not ideal. It backed onto the back of the kitchen and was noisy with staff loading bins etc. The rate of €150 per night did not seem to be great value for money. The restaurant was extremely busy with pretty much everyone in town coming for dinner or takeaway. They were not taking bookings and it was roll up only and as hotel guests I would have expected to have been given some priority over non residents but that was not the case. From a Covid perspective I felt this hotel should have been better (especially compared to the hotel we stayed at for the 3 nights before). None of the staff wore masks at any point which gave us cause for concern. The town itself is lovely and we would highly recommend a day trip to Shirken Island, it is just stunning. …
Without a doubt a special place to spend New Year away from the hustle and bustle of life. Our room was amazing with sea view a lovely bathroom, sofa and huge comfortable bed. Also had bed and breakfast here a good choice and plenty of food. The pizza was also delicious. Will be back in the autumn.
We had a fantastic dinner overlooking the little marina in Baltimore last night. The view, table linens and tableware were all beautiful. However, my moules (starter) with freshly baked bread were fantastic and the hake main course was superb. Perfectly fresh. I finished with the Irish cheese board - delicious. All washed down with a good Malbec. Finally, the service from (handsome!) Steve was absolutely first class. Highly recommended!
Incredible value for a great hotel. Rooms are lovely and the restaurant is very high quality. Fantastic place for a family break. Views from the restaurant and breakfast a highlight. Staff very helpful with advice for the local area.
