Stayed here in September 2020 for 2 nights as part of a trip on the Wild Atlantic Way. Location was perfect for getting around Baltimore on foot, really good hosts and good coronavirus measures in place that helped with sense of security. Also really close to Lough Hyne for climbing Knockomagh hill. Breakfast options were really good and delivered to the room with great efficiency. We also availed of a boat trip where we saw dolphins so this was really enjoyable. Rianne was more than helpful and sent on maps/food recommendations for the area and for further locations on our stay. Will hopefully return to stay here in the future!

While it was only a short stay as part of a larger trip around Cork and Kerry, our time at Stonehouse with Rianne and Jerry was superb. The adaptations in pandemic times did not affect the warmth of welcome and takeaway breakfast delivered to the door was a fantastic replacement to a sit down breakfast. We felt very safe in non-intrusive way throughout our stay. The room we stayed in was extremely comfortable with a modern bathroom and a private balcony to soak up some sea air. Also the range of tea and coffee supplies in the hallway meant we were never far from the brew of our choice. This accommodation was the perfect base of operations for going out to explore West Cork. We were also so happy to have changed our plans to make a whale watching trip with Jerry - after a thrilling boat ride along the coastline of nearby islands with the stunning silhouette of Fastnet lighthouse on the horizon Jerry brought us up to two humpback whales for a stunning close up look! All-in-all this was a very memorable stay and we will be back to visit safe in the knowledge that we will have a warm welcome and a relaxing stay. Thank you Rianne and Jerry for looking after us and giving us a much MUCH needed break in these trying times!

Thank you Brendan & Emma - we were delighted to have you return to our B&B after a 2 year gap (how time flies) and pleased to read that you enjoyed both your stay with us in our home as well as the trip on Wave Chieftain with Jerry and the sightings of the humpbacks. Weather has been hit & miss for the past few weeks so I'm pleased your tour went ahead. The adaptation in Covid-times have put a certain strain on the real hospitality of B&Bs i.e. the personal interactions between hosts and guests and in particular the breakfast time round the big table, but it was great to chat (at a safe distance) with you both on your new life back in Ireland since December and wish you both well in your new jobs. Stay safe and do come again. Kind regards - Rianne & Jerry

Really well run and great food. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food arrives piping hot. It’s (deservedly) a popular spot so book ahead. Definitely try the chicken wings - really exceptional!

Hello "Irish Lights Up" - thank you for those kind words BUT I think this may not be a review for our B&B in Baltimore West Cork as we only serve breakfast which does not include chicken wings.

Dear CJMFD - your review is not in line with TripAdvisor Guidelines as you were not a guest at our B&B, you have never stayed with us, your review was not written after check-in, as required: in fact you wrote this on the day you made the reservation (10 Aug) through a third party booking system for a stay 2 weeks later (1 and 2 Sep and subsequently cancelled on 17 Aug), the comments are not first hand (as required), nor correct and anyone reading your review and my response (owner) will hopefully see that this clearly should not have been posted. I have requested TripAdvisor to remove it forthwith.
